Bachdion, Knight oF Fiona, satyr. She's met him before but not often, "Would I desert you after I gave my offer of help, squire." Then he bows to SYlvi, "Lovely to see you again, Emmisary. Are you both ready for this surprise?"

"Huh?" And she looks where he's looking.

A blink, and she gets serious. She lets go of his arm, and gives a more formal curtsy. "Sir Bachdion. I'm...this is...I wasn't expecting you." A puzzled look to Colton...this is a bigger deal than she thought.

"A flicker flash might be faster tahn a trod. I brought dross to increase your chances of getting there on time, " Sir Bachdion says

"On time? Okay...."

"Yeah, there's a time limit and I didn't want to make you nervous. Also.. your dad KINDA owns the trods around here? I mean, he knwos every rover and I just wanted to..bypass him" Colton looks a BIT embarrassed

She blinks at Colton....then at the satyr...then at Colton again. "Um...what exactly is going on?" A curious smile, now...curious and eager.

"Nothing unseemly, I assure you," the satyr chuckles, "Colton just earned a favor and he is using it for your sake."

"Sir Bachdion," Colton hisses "Don't tell her that part"

"Oops" The satyr smiles

"Earned a favor from you, Sir? Well, I want to hear the story, when there's time." She takes Colton's arm again. "Okay...I guess I'm ready when you are."

The satyr takes off his cape, covers them both in it, then whisks it while saying "And now for my next magical trick..."

and the two vanish in a flash...

Sylvi's laugh cuts off with a faint echo as they are gone.

only to find themselves once more in a new spot where they hear a hustle and bustle ... a back stage...?

Hustle and bustle all around, and a woman moves towards them smoothly, a sidhe, but her house is hard to determine, she breaks into a smile as she sees it's Colton, "Squire, you startled me. You're a bit early. Calling in that favor right?"

"Yes I am, Dame Umbrous" He smiles

"Well, you've got a back stage pass. Both of you." She says "Some of us are wee bit tense but we'll adapt. Go where you will unless the director says othewise"

"I...ah...yes, ma'am," Sylvi manages.

"my manners, this is Sylvi. I may have mentioned her. Sylvi, this is Dame Umbrous, she manages security for the troupe here."

"Charmed," The woman says "Please, go on further in. I'm told that's where you'll want to be"

"I...yes...thank you, Dame Umbrous." Sylvi manages her own manners, then follows Colton's lead, whispering to him, "Where's here?"

"And what's the troupe?"

"Oh... the Wee Theatre of Jefferson City, of course" He grins.. "I..." And they nearly bump into a troll. A tall one... it's silly to say that, as they're both trolls, but this woman is as tall as the Chieftain.

"Colton, I was wondering if you were going to show... this must be Sylvi. " The woman says

Sylvi blinks. "Yes'm, I'm Sylvi." She looks for Colton to finish the introductions.

"This is RJ, the director" He says in a lower voice 'Don't bother asking her what it stands for, she never tells anyone"

"Mother hen is more like it," The woman says, "never work with childlings or pooka they say and I've got both" RJ shakes her head, "Oh well. Welcome, Sylvi. Mind Collete. SHe's in a cutting mood."

"I am only in a cutting mood because some folks decided to mess with MY costumes... " A boggan's voice says "And Jeff, if you pull at that lapel one more time I will use your ass to make a clutch purse and don't think I don't have a pattern for that. THe kids are kids, you don't have that excuse!"

"Collete...cutting...um...okay..." She blinks. "I'm sorry, ma'am, I really...Colton hasn't told me what all this is...."

Sylvi finds herself rather glad that she is not the poor, put-upon Jeff.

"Sorry to leave you in a lurch, Collete, but your'e the best" RJ says.

"Flattery won't work every time, I'm doing the work of three women here!" But the boggan seems somewhat mollified.

"She really is," RJ informs them, "I'm afraid we're short staffed."

Then RJ calls out "I owe you big, Collete"

"Is...uh...are we in the way...?"

RJ says "And to tell you what COlton should have, you're backstage at a broadway musical..well, not ON broadway, obviously. It's Matilda...not sure if you've heard of it. No no. I promised Colton when he saved one our dreamers from ravaging that we'd owe him. This is what he asked for and I'm a woman of my word. Also, you'll want to meet Kolette with a K... she's in charge of make up and is expecting you"

Sylvi gasps and claps both her hands over her mouth, her eyes wide. She stares at RJ, then at Colton, then at RJ again before finally dropping her hands and crying out, "I love this book! OMG! and...the make up...she's expecting me?!"

"Yeah, apparently your boy friend mentioned you were trying for some make up career and thought it might be nice to show you one slice of it... Kolette agreed, but then the Dreamer was a friend of hers so of course she would and I did promise so.... just follow Kolette's lead, stay out of Colette's way unless you want to learn about costuming too..and then obey very diligently, and if I yell at you to go somwhere and stand, you do that. Fair?"

Then in a lower less stoic voice, the troll admits "I love it too."

Colton is blushing "I was hoping to keep the sit in on the make up part of things a secret a bit longer...."

RJ looks at Colton "I don't have time for secrets."

"oh?" Umbrous calls out, "What's R.J. stand for?"

"Anything you want if it's said politely" RJ Responds.

Sylvi just stands dumbstruck for several seconds...

...then she flings her arms around Colton's neck and gives him a very, very enthusiastic kiss.

Colton is taken off guard, but in the best way.

"Wow..." he says when they part.
