Dagmar tromps out through the woods.

And finds Lupita looking embarrassed, and a little forlorn.

"Hey G." She frowns. "You look like hell."

"Thanks" amused

then she sighs "yeah I... " At this point Dagmar may notice the girl is enchanted

"Just sayin'." She climbs up to join her friend, and sits.

"Hey... you're still sparkly?"

"Geez you are sooo freaking tall like this.." She mutters

"Ha. Told you I was a kind of giant."

"yeah, one of your kind juiced me up..." She shrugs "Anyway... you heard about the massacre at the clinic at the edge of the county?"

"Uh..."

"Bunch of doctors killed? folks thought becausee it was an abortion clinic?"

"Well, a clinic that provided them?"

A long look "You don't watch much news do you?" Light poke

"I don't, not really.."

"So, like, okay... somebody killed a bunch of doctors? That seems pretty bad..."

"Yeah... it was horrible. Only... they weren't doctors... not anymore... they were possessed by these evil spirits... servants of the worm.. see, you guys have Fomorians.. we got Fomori? And banes are spirts and they can... well.. these guys we using helpless women to birth these abomitnations... "

Her brow furrows.

"It sounds like a cop out, or a bad B movie...but it's true. Anyway.. it was us that killed the doctors.. "

"The doctors were possessed?"

"Couldn't you, like, exorcise them? Or is it like us, where the supernatural and the human parts are.. uh.. merged?"

"I wish we could but sometimes it's..." She looks away "yeah, it was merged. They were dead already in some ways. I wish it made sense."

"So... they weren't people anymore?"

"No... but I'm still..." A she sighs "I'm such a freaking cub "

"Why? Because you feel sick after fighting? I fel all sick after the bug guy, and he tried to kill me first."

"Because I didn't feel sick... I mean.. ... when I killed those things... it was SO ..right. I...didn't feel mercy or remorse I just.. wanted them gone... and I let the rage flow and ...when it was done? I tried to feel a bit sorry about what I did? Just a bit? and... I couldn't." She hangs her head, "I was a monster who killed monsters and it felt natural to take out the unnatural"

Lupita looks nervously at her friend at that confession

Dagmar considers.

"Well... Dirk and Symon are monsters, sort of."

"Olgar too."

"But there are worse things. I mean, you turned into a wolf and killed monsters... but you didn't kill innocents. THEY did."

"yeah, they planted these rosemary baby type level shit into the women and fast grew them like a timelapse into warriors of the Wyrm... nasty"

She makes a face. "That's... no. Uhg. No."

"Oh, it killed the women when they hatched, of course"

"So - these demon things were hurting people, and you killed them to stop them. In what part are you the monster? Because you got angry?"

"I..because I didn't .. don't know..no mercy? no regrets in the killing? does that make me hard core or inhuman?"

"Did they deserve mercy? There's fuckin' evil in the world, and it doesn't have mercy."

"No, they didn't" She admits "And they were themselves like the opposite of mercy" A nod then "Dirk says that I'm a monster like him and using monster hood to hunt monsters is a long and proud thing with caps. He said 'If you ain't who you are, using who you is to be the better whatever you can be/should be where you aat when you're at? you're no one stuck in no place" "

"That sounds way too smart for Dirk..."

"He said he stole it from Franik? Who is apparently a Mountain?"

"Oh, yeah. Frank. That makes sense. But, like... I'm not much of nothing, right? As Sam, I wasn't. But I'm more than Sam now."

"Like... Thor needed to be worthy of his power, and Spider-Man, y'know, with power comes responsibility..."

"Well, YOU have all this power now, and a duty..."

"So, I mean, you shouldn't feel bad about doing your duty. Evil doesn't stop on its own, and the strong need to protect the weak."
