She crosses over to Sylvi and Siv.

"Yeah, it's okay, Siv, I got you." She puts the bit of dross in the girl's hands, then helps her to snap it in two.

"Watch our backs," she says to Dagmar.

He murmurs into his shadowy ruff, and Lovecraft slinks off his shoulders, flitting over to Siv with unnatural lightnight speed. The cat-like creature winds and twines around her legs, a touch of dreaming against her, though Symon stays hanging back.

She flickers, "oh, oh sweet Danu.."

Hands still held up near his chest, ready to cover his ears if there was another shout.

Stronger now

Sylvi mutters fast and low. "You're Siv, you're here, we're with you. What happened?"

Holding her hands, Sylvi concentrates hard to add a bit of her own glamour through the grip.

Still looking confused, Dagmar draws that halberd and falls into a "guard" position. She hands the polearm as if it weighed no more than a toy, though Symon's calculating mind would wager it heavier than he could lift.

But still not as bright before, "There was this horrible old woman.. talking about how how I dressed!"

Indeed, he assesses and re-assesses her strength mentally, based on the base weight of the polearm, carry the three, adjust for THACO and add the to-hit modified....

"Sounds like a bitch. You dress just fine. But was she something? You look sick... did she do something?"

"Okay...okay. That right there? That's banality. She got to you." She looks around at the others. "We've got to get her back home."

"Should I call Frank?"

"She..said made me feel..." Siv says "blast it, I almost forgot .." Her eyes widen with fear, but she schools it. "I'll be fine. Don't call my dad"

"Snitches get stitches." He mutters, probably unheard from the background.

"I've got it. Watch her." Sylvi opens her phone, ignores the texts she was in, and sends a group text to Kerri, Olgar, Frank, and Brekke (a group set up as a speed dial by Olgar when he gave her the phone): Emergency need mall pick up Sears entrance ASAP.

"Don't..they'll never let me out again"

"Yeah, I know, but she's sick..."

"Got to, Siv, sorry." Already shoving the phone away and grabbing her arm. "She doesn't have enough glamour. We've got to get her home. Now."

"Blast it blast it blast it"

Siv says

"Why didn't I leave sooner?"

"It's not your fault. They'll understand that."

"Did she breathe on you or something? Like... poison fog breath?"

"Girl, if you'd left sooner, you'd have gone poof by now. Let's go." She tugs on Siv's arm to get towards the exit. "You going to be okay, Symon?"

"No, I mean leave HER. "

"Oh, okay. Yeah. Gotta not listen to Autumn people. I... " She stops in her tracks, pauses a moment, then takes off a necklace that she keeps hidden under her shirt normally, and slips it over Siv's head. "This is yours now. I'll explain later."

His chimera slinks back over to pool around his feet, making him seem to stand in a puddle of shadows. A nod to Sylvi.

They get to the exit without incident.... (?)

A look between the other girls and Symon, lingering a minute. "See you at school? Maybe you can tell me more about the mutant game..."

"What is.."

And...yes, they make it without incident.

While they wait for Olgar, Sylvi tries to explain a bit more about Autumn people and how they add banality. "You must be extra sensitive to it," she says to Siv. "That necklace will warn you if there are any around."

He trails after them, and nods to Dagmar. "Sure... I can print some stuff off. Maybe you can tell her dad that it was someone else's fault. If she's gonna be in trouble. Blame it on me - I don't care."

Siv's face falls. she looks humiliated, and mutters "Thank you, Sylvi."

Sylvi glances at her phone again, bites her lip, and makes a very brief text before shoving it away in her pocket again.

"Symon...if you want to come to the Lodge, that's cool. We can all fit. And you helped, with Lovecraft."

"Answer who ever it is, I won't ...go to the bathroom like an adult again or anything" Siv mutters

Dagmar listens in on Sylvi's explanation of Autumn people.

Sylvi shakes her head at Siv. "It's nothing. I can do it later."

She hears it, "So anyone might have forgetten themselvees with that hag?"

"Yeah, if she had you cornered long enough."

"Just by talking?"

He gives Dagmar a look, and whispers over to her. "Have you ever had anyone say something to you that just makes you feel.... small?"

"It's the stuff they say. They try to tear you down."

"I was told about them, I ..Sylvi tells it fine, but my dad and mom warned me. I even listened. I just...didn't realize what she was until it was too late."

She nods agreement with Symon.
