"Sounds exhausting"

"Besides, what are my folks likely to tell me if I decide I'm not talking to her? 'Talk to each other, and work it out.' " Clearly, it's been a common refrain of her youth.

"Just... I thought you were gonna fight." A shrug and that same uncertain look.

"Why would I fight her when she almost went poof today? I mean, we fought with words. That settled it. We're done."

"That wasn't a fight... that was... I don't know what that was."

"Also, just speaking for me, it wouldn't exactly have sent the right message on 'how mature I am' if I punched someone in the nose to prove it."

Her jaw juts out, a touch of purple in her cheeks. "Yeah."

"Okay, not a fight. An argument. Okay?"

"Yeah... sure, okay." She rubs the back of her neck, starting to look embaressed.

"Can you believe all those cool models of superheroes they had? Some of them were so bad ass"

Siv says , allowing a changing of the subject if someone wnats it

"Oh, yeah! I liked them! I didn't know who all them were, I've seen more movies than actually reading the comics...."

Sylvi gives her a grin at the abrupt gear change. "And what about Symon? Kinda weird how he thinks, but...I think he's okay."

"He seems decent, yeah. And that's a sluagh? The other kid, the dickhead? What was he?"

"Symon throws me off, but mostly in a good way. The other guy was a redcap. They are rough. Even Thelma was rough, and she was a friend."

"He seemed pretty dumb and mean. Mean is mean, but dumb is easier to handle."

"Dirk is a jerk. That's all there is to it. But yeah, a redcap. They..." she pauses. "I haven't met one that I like, yet. So...that's me being open-minded, if you couldn't tell."

A chuckle

"I kind of wanna try that superhero game."

"Then you should" Siv says "Sounds like it might be your kind of game."

"I'll ask him at school, maybe."

Sylvi's eyes suddenly widen. "Ohhhh....crap."

"what?"

"I totally forgot to text Colton back." She fishes out her phone and stares at it. "He hasn't...he must think I'm mad at something. Ohh...guys, I'm sorry, can I...?"

"Sure?"

"Sure sure, go go..tell Winter Soldier we said hi"

"I bet Colton would like that store, too."

"Oh, he's been there, and he does. I'll just...." She heads up the stairs, texting as she goes.

A snerk. "She sooooooo gone."

"Please, she's got Colton wrapped around her finger" A grin though.

"Well.... yeah, she might."

...well, we're all probably too young to be too sure of our hearts, but.." A smile "It must be nice to have a fellow fuss."

"Boys are gross." A sigh.

She is curious "well, some girls prefer lasses, naught wrong with that but..some don't seem too gross, or at least, I imaggine they clean up well" wistful

"No, I don't... I'm not..."

"Just... I don't wanna date anybody. They get all grabby and gross and I don't like it."

"Then don't" She nods, "You shouldn't have to be something for some boy or girl that you're not."

"And sorry, hope I didn't make you uncomfortable. I know with beltaine coming mhy brain is all mush filled"

"Yeah. Maybe I'll be a rover."

"Beltaine? That sounds like a whole long explanation..."

"Oh Rovers are pretty cool... even if Mr. Olgar can be a bit gruff. " Siv realizes "oh my, holidays... sit down, grab a drink, this will.. ah take a bit. I've learned all about them but haven't DONE most so... this is all second hand. " but she does fill her in over the next hour of not just Beltaine, but all the holidays she can recall

Lots of silent listening, and quiet head-spinning. Winter? Summer? She DOES approve of Pennons - "Changeling olympics!"

"that and a craft fair too. "

"Weird." Ah, her favorite word.

"I should get home. You should get to bed, right? Stay safe, rest up?"

"yeah,I need to hang by the fire." She faces that fact. "thanks, Dagmar. I like hanging ou with you. Sylvi does too."

A sad smile. "I like hanging out with you guys, too."

"Smashing. Let us know how it goes with Symon?"

"Sure. Night, Siv." She gets up, heading for the door and home. She's done this walk before, she knows the way now.
