((Well, you sort of run the place, ST, so....))

A soft growl.

Clem looks to Frank,"Mountain ? Can we talk?"

Frank scratches his beard, nods to Clem. To Siv he says "Be careful." And steps away with Clem.

Clem looks at him, then kens around sure they're not being scried on she says "I have a savage side when winter is upon me. Am I right in guessing you're feeling that?"

"Huh?"

Siv nods and escorts Dodger on board, introduces him around.

"Frank, you're acting like you're ready to throw any rulees out the window and tear through people who aren't obviously your foes"

"How else should I act?" Frowning.

"Like the summer knight you are perhaps?"

Frank steps just a bit closer and drops his voice. "She's in danger. If she were dead.... it would be winter."

"Yes, but they don't know that's how you would act, so perhaps you are allowed to stay summer? Espcially since Winter's savagery could endanger her plans?"

Work is going about them

"But. It. Hasn't." a low growl "Being. Careful."

"You're constantly on the edge, and don't growl at me, I'm on your side, darn it." A frown

A grunt.

"Fine, I said my piece." She sighs "Let's go spend the rest of the day."

When it's clear that they

're done speaking, Siv comes up to Frank and says, "I think we should check in with Torth."

He nods, and follows her.

They come to the the smaller lodge, and notice wisps of smoke from it. Oh, the fire is out, but it clear something attacked them

Frank draws his sword.

"What..." Axe in hand, she hurries inside.

"Who goes?" A young Hearth turns, then puts his weapon away, "Come in. Can either of you heal?"

Frank does -not- put his weapons away, and searches the Lodge from corner to corner.

"I can. Show me." Her weapon goes back on her belt.

Frank no beast, but crystal salt remains? oh yes.

A growl, one that can be felt in someone -else's- chest.....

And Brekke/Siv is lead to a wounded, badly wounded, Torth, with many burns on him

"He...he's really in bad shape," Horik explains to Siv "Three Drakes, THREE. All went for him."

Siv glances to Frank and takes a deep, centering breath...then she sees Torth and scowls (an odd expression on such a young face). She kneels beside him.

Frank hears a similar story from another

Frank finishes assessing the state of the Lodge and moves back to Siv.

Torth breathes heavy

For a moment, she can imagine it's Vegard there

She puts her hand on his forehead and murmurs, "Strong is the name Hornshield. Strong your brother Vegard, wise in counsel, loyal and true. Strong your great-niece Gerd, his spirit returned, much potential in her path. And strong are you, Torth Hornshield, in leadership and compassion, mighty in arm and in friendship. Your people need you yet. Strong shall Hornshield be."

Siv panicks as the cantrip fails... and his breathing grows more ragged desperate for air

Then suddenly...

a spark! A belated spark...and the glamour comes all around him. It would appear it has taken! Starting deeper and working up. A gasp, but it is clean.

And Torth's eyes open, "My people, are they okay?"

She takes a deep breath herself after that moment of panic. "I do not yet know." She looks around. "Are any others hurt?"

"Only a few, " She will be lead to them, and each one needs far less than he did.

Frank stays on guard, ready to unleash Dark Fury on any trying another attack.

He follows Siv to her other patients.

She tends to each as best she can, adding first aid when the cantrip is not enough...and trying to keep her mounting fury away from their bedsides.

the day passes again, and word from the Worldshield is out. They should have the votes, but it will be close. then again ,the Worldshield doesn't know about their numbers. Security is at a high that night, and...
