A long pause from the Mountain. "Up to you. But, if you're asking.... Mine. We can't get to know each other if you're on another boat."

Jaymes nods, "Seems smart. Besides, I think I'm more used to ships than you are, then again, I'm several years rusty so.. even odds."

"We'll see." Frank agrees.

The Kestrel seems almost eager to get going, and the Wave Maiden and it are both stocked and ready to go.

Brekke summons Clem over and quietly asks, "Will Thelma stay with you or with us?"

Clem says "Well, that's up to you, we will need extra food rations on which ever ship. Of course, we also have Dodger, so that's two non trolls along for the journey."

"Well...we each can heal, should she need the help...but I suspect that you have more experience with childbirth, given the Farm."

"Still...she is still a long way from that."

"I've midwifed before once." A blush "Well, assistant mid wife"

"More experience than I have had." She nods. "So, Thelma with you, and...Dodger with us." She doesn't sound particularly thrilled with that arrangement, but it is what it is.

"Here I thought you were the troll with the honoray pooka title" She reminds

"Well...yes. But he seems more difficult to understand than some. That is not his fault, of course."

Frank sips his drink, and looks over at Jaymes.

"I do think the lights may not be all on upstairs..." An admission, "But maybe there's just a code we haven't broke yet."

"Perhaps. Or perhaps he is simply more brawn than brain. A good fighter is an asset, though."

"Fair enough"

Jaymes and Frank see McCormick and Galvan carrying something towards the Kestrel, it looks like a headboard for a bed

((Does Brekke see said headboard?))

Frank glances. "What's that?"

McCormick calls out, "A gift from the Worldshield, minor treasure, you invoke it's magic and it creates a extra bedroom inside a building or longship that doesn't really take up space. Apparently she thought you and your wife might like it."

Brekke is thinking a similar question, and she goes to intercept the two with their burden.

Brekke's eyes go wide at the description, and the looks around at the others in earshot, somewhat mortified.

Frank just looks away.

Then he stands. "Take it to the captain's quarters."

She merely nods agreement with Frank's direction, then looks at him, coloring.

He does not meet Brekke's gaze, but sits down again with ... Jaymes.

"Oh, only said for me to say it discretely, forgot that part..."

McCormick grins widely, then carries it on

Galvan, for his part, does not crack a smile.

Brekke notes McCormick's grin...and gives him a GLARE...which he seems to ignore completely.

Must have gotten his blind side

"Hmph." She goes to join Frank and Jaymes. "May I sit with you?"

Frank stands again, gets a seat. "Of course."

"Of course" Jaymes says "Frank and I think it will be a chancee to know each other anew if I go on the Kestrel."

She sits, giving Frank a bit of a grin while doing so. "You are coming with us, then," she says to Jaymes. "I was not sure, but I am glad to hear it. And yes, come aboard the Kestrel."

"Thank you, and , thanks again for the rescue. So..." A pause "Not sure how to make small talk of this, but have you and Frank been married long?"

"Yes."

She nods. "Many years, now."

"I feel like I should say congratulations, not many couples keep questing after these years"

She glances to Frank before saying, "We have not quested often in the Dreaming, and this is the first time together...well, intentionally, at any rate. Many journeys together in Concordia, though."

Frank nods in agreement.

A nod, then another "I think our first few conversations are going to awkward "

"That seems likely. Have you two....well, have you remembered being brothers?"

"Not as such."

"I...remember more than he, and even that only started once he got on the island. I remember an oath to aid him.... I remember him dragging us off on somee crazy adventure to help a human village. "

Frank sighs quietly.

"Well, I DO..." A sigh "Seriously, some girl in tattered rags comes calling out for 'friendly giant please help' and..off he goes."
