A blink, and she looks to Frank...and grins.

"Hmmphm."

"Have you noticed that you both sigh the same way?"

"We do not."

"We do not."

A look at Frank at that.

She only just avoids smiling at that, and clears her throat. "At any rate...if you know him to be your brother, Jaymes, do you know of other family members? Parents?" A note of caution at that.

"In this life? I had a sister, she passed... in the life where we were brothers? I..." He tries to focus, then shrugs

She nods slowly, thinking.

Hammering sounds inside the kestrel

Brekke turns to glance at the ship...and then clears her throat and looks away, aware of what exactly is being hammered.

"So, if you're questing, was it Thyle you were questing for?" Jaymes asks

"Not specifically. We are searching for ways to combat the Thallain. We did not have a specific destination, only an idea...and this is where the Silver brought us first."

"No."

"First? Lord, imagine how crazy the next stage will be." He says

Brekke nods, bemused. "We did not expect such an adventure as this. However, I could not abide the slavery...and then other complications became clear."

Ironhawk nods, "Maybe that's the nature of the quest, in the end, the heroes find themselves where they are needed, more than where they wanted."

"That is the nature of Quests. The good ones." He agrees.

"Hmph. Yes, but it makes me sound uncomfortably like an eshu."

"I suppose it does..."

McCormick and Galvan come out. "All done"

She gives them a nod and a muttered thank you.

"Jaymes, if you are to ship with us, what should I know about your skills?"

Frank slips back, listening.

They move on. Jaymes nods "I've been on many a ship and can handle just about any task with adequacy or better I fight and am skilled with bow and spear. I have a gift with Skycraft, and that can help with sailing."

An interested look. "Skycraft. Good. Yes, that will help. Well, do you have any questions before coming aboard?"

"Just one really. Where the hell are we going next?"

"That...is a very good question."

Clem approaches

"The three treasures that we've been told of are in different locations, and we need to determine which to go after, as we probably will not be able to gain all three...." She looks up at Clem approaches.

"Sounds like you were talking about what we were considering over there... Orb of One Dozen Candles, The Binding Thread, and the Revealing Eye. And... that leads us to a risky option."

She looks at the younger captain a moment, then says, "You are considering sailing us in two different directions, after different treasures."

"Yeah, how did you know?"

A slight grin. "Two ships, and too many quests for one to complete alone. I would have caught up with your thoughts soon."

A blush "Well, youthful energy no match for experience then I guess. I was thinking my ship might hit the Island of the living labyrinth, while your crew would seek out the Tower of the mad sidhe on the forgotten coast."

Brekke nods slowly. "And then...we both seek Twisthorn."

"We can surely try."

"It makes sense. Better sense that way, in fact, since we will then have two treasures in hand to use at that point."

"If we can pull this off, it'll be a saga worth telling" Clem says
