Frank's night was restless, and he actually got up to prowl the deck in the middle of it, but he's there now, and walking behind Siv to join her on shore.

"Sometimes a man's got to do what a man's got to do, there is no I in team!"

He says nodding hopefully

"You...want to join the crew. What do you hope to get from it?"

"Winners want the ball" He nods

She narrows her eyes, thinking how to work this. "I want you...to tell me precisely what you do not want to have happen."

"Well, do do do a do, don't do a don't" He stalls, then tries again, "I wanna be a bum instead of a contender which is what i am."

Clem wakes up, yawns "Did someone leave the channel on a sports movie marathon?"

Siv looks to Clem. "I am trying to help him answer, but it does not seem to be working."

Frank looks at the pooka with a dark expression.

"Yes or no...do you hope to come with us to the fallen lands?"

"the big game!" He nods!

She sighs. "That is not yes or no. Still....do you also hope to have a vote at the Meet?"

"Meat?" Eyes the dark gaze of Frank cautiously , then "Well, I think I can make the cut. If my team needs me to bleed, I'll bleed."

"Which brings up the issue," she says to Clem. "Will crew members who are not trolls be allowed to vote?"

Clem sighs, "Dreaming help me. I'm gonna cheat." She looks at the Ram pooka, "Can I have a bit of your wool?"

then she says "I'm not sure, technically non thralls can be part of the storm , hearth, or mountain."

"Well, we will ask the Worldshield." Then she watches the bunk in process.

"Need him to talk straight?" Frank offers.

The Pooka takes a bit of his wool and offers it to Clem, "Here you go kid, thanks Mean Joe."

She sighs, and takes it, waving hand over it, "Where pooka alays lie, like this wool hold true. " Evoking she asks it "is the pooka you were just recently a threat to us?"

She asks again "Why does he want to join our crew?"

Siv's clearly impressed by this use of Willow Whisper.

CLem has to be careful not to drop that last, then says "What good can he do us?"

Frank rumbles wordlessly.

She raises a brow as the spell peters, "That's all I got."

"And the crowd goes Wild!" Dodger grins at the use of the wool

She looks again at Dodger. "A moment." And she pulls Clem and Frank aside. "I cannot think of a reason why not, can you?"

"Lies?" After a moment thinking.

'Well, sides from his own wool saying he's dumb as a post, I suppose not. Sides, we have Clyde and he's no rocket scientist"

"I do not mind pooka-lies, if the intent is sincere," she says to Frank.

A grunt of acknowledgement followed by more thought. "Dumb?"

"Perhaps. Perhaps not."

A moment more of thought. "I say yes. You?" she asks the others.

"Put me in the game, Coach" The Big Pooka says hopefully, "Get me off the bench"

McCormick shrugs, "he looks strong enough to pull rope"

Frank grunts to himself and nods approval.

the votes seem to mostly be in the 'meh' to 'yay' category

She nods, and turns to Dodger. "If you sail with us, you will be expected to work. And there are few flowers to arrange on this ship."

He pumps his fist in the air "Mighty Ducks!"

"He's good with that" Clem translates

"Mm." A dubious nod, but she's satisfied enough.

Then she frowns. "I have lost track of time. Is the Meet today, or tomorrow?"

Dodger works hard and plays hard! He's a team player!

"One more day," Clem says OOC: At least i think so 😉
