"They're doing bloodwork.. it was a heart situation but they say they can't find the source"

"They can't FIND.." Earl blinks "The heck?"

"These are DOCTORS, right?" tizzy hurumphs

"We could take him to see Clementine?"

"Oh that nice lady wiht the straw hat" Hannah nods "Shows her mid riff too much sometimes but I suppose everyone has their own way. I.. you think she could do better?"

"She's really good at healing, it's true" Earl says "I..."

the door to the room opens, "Mrs. Scwhartz?" A man in a lab coat says

Zara turns to look, eyes wide with worry.

"I.. oh, I didn't realize others were here.. " The doctor says "These are family?"

"Yes" Hannah looks over them, then back "All of them "

"Well, we have the blood work result... " The doctor says "But it's..rather .. insidous. We didn't knwo if you wanted anyone else to know"

Great, now Zara is scared, impatient, worried AND Curious!

Narrow eyes.

"They're family, and I learned a long time ago hiding things from Zara was a mistake" SHe says "Please, go on."

The doctor nods, then lowers his voice "It appears this was induced by some form of toxin"

"Wait, my husband was.. .poisoned?" Hannah's eyes widen

"What kind of poison?"

"We're still researching that"the Doctor says "Narrowing it down... it may not be a deliberate poison but some house hold item from a mistep?"

"Surely, yes. But can you... is there an antidote? Charcoal? Something?"

"Blood transfusion to get it out of his system for starts is one option, but yes, we're sure we can do some counter agents"

Zara fusses.

"This could be from something he ate? That I made and didn't watch?" Hannah's looks gobsmacked

Earl puts a hand on the kinian "Stop that, Hannah. You are not to blame for any of this. We do not know what is, or who is, but it's not you. " A firm note "Now Aaron is going to be fine. And he would not want you to blame yourself"

"Earl's right" Tizzy says... and jerks her head towards the open door past the doctor, a space so slim only a sluagh could squirm throughtout the doctor noticing mouthing 'whisper his blood in there, or omen it'"

"Not here."

Tziporah scowls but is more mad at being unable to help her new father

"But I can get that chart..."

A nod nod nod...

while the doctor talks to Hannah "He's still sleeping right now, but he is safe. We suggest holding onto him for another 24 hours ..."

Zara slips behind the doctor to look...

Easy peasy, she slips in and finds the chart. She looks over it, her eye for patterns plus her medical knowlede working togeether to note how CLOSE her dad came to dying

She looks through and ... the odds of this reaction being from 'house hold items' are nill. This was a conconcted venom. Someone has gone after her father

(And if your ST knew more toxicology he'd have a name for you after that roll)

(But assume Zara has a really good idea what it might be)

"Oh.. ah young lady, those charts are..well, it's very technical" THe doctor did not see her take pictures, only that she's now staring at them

"Oh, sure..."

She moves to her father's side, catching his hand in hers. It might be a question who has the colder fingers at the moment.

Out cold, but she can imagine his fingers tightening just a bit , every so softly.

Hannah takes the other hand "Doctor, can we be along with him for a moment?'
