It's a pretty rock-solid bet the poor fledge is going to come away more confused than she started, with the Uncle arguing at cross-purposes.

she listens ...the Escheat, the Codes..... wait, which part of the codes are more important? The Uncles can't seem to agree. Hold up? Is she a Fledge or a FURKING Fledge ... or a Razzafrafin Rookie? Is 'you better listen to your elders' really part of the Escheat, or did they throw that in?

After a bit, she learns to listen to Zara's whispers as a perhaps less biased more nuanced source

Mind you, Zara's whispers might be hard to hear over the Uncle's arguing. At volume.

When necessary, cookies are pressed upon the pair so Zara can get a whisper in edgewise.

....Which sparks an argument over who makes better cookies, and who stole what recipe....

Tiziporah says to Zara "Bad time to tell them my Bubbe made them best?"

She pats the Eshu's hand. "Of course your Bubbe did."

A smile at that "Thanks, Zara' She suspects the sluagh has her own favorite but .. who doesn't? "You're a mensch"

"This is a lot to handle, but... mayhaps a welcome distraction? Mama and Papa are not kithain, but they are in the loop."

"Yes, the kiths are ..so many.. centaurs? Really, that's a thing?"

"All is true. Every dream, every story."

"I can't wait to see it all" her eyes shine with a hunger to see.

Zara bobs her head.

The Uncles argue their way down the stairs again. Hannah and Aaron's voices add to the cacophony.

A gentle sigh, and Zara leads Tziporah down after. Obviously all of this chaos demands a good dinner.

"Wow.. how do your ears survive their mouths?" She whispers, but follows

"Years of practice. They do mean well."

Ah yes, the sounds of home wash over Zara, a familiar tsunami.

And while not "home" to Tziporah, perhaps the gentle chaos reminds enough to comfort.

The eshu still looks a bit sad, how could she not? But there's some joy remembered, yes.
