He helps pack, then "I suppose if we had a drippy gag cup, the pooka would appreciate it?"

"Right ,High summer is over" He tries to look suitably chastised

"Tis, aye."

Despite the load of tea and other 'not sure these are essentials', he does smile "I love you, you know that?"

"Aye. And I thee. Art thou bringing paintings again?"

"A few" Sheepish "They did come in handy last time"

He gestures to a carry artists bag

"So a few more teacups shan't hurt."

"Somehow I knew you'd say that" He says with resigned dignity.

"You'll see. Tea will be good for the journey."

"Of course it will be very nice for rest stops if we can get them, but they may not even allow beverages in the library"

"Doubtful."

A smile at her, "If there is a sluagh heaven, it has books and tea"

A happy sigh. "Agreed."

He bends over to kiss her cheek, "I hope this is everything you hope, but even if it comes a bit short, I get to journey with you so it's a win"

"It shall be wonderful. A quest, just to quest? A library - THE Library?"

"Yeah " He smiles too "I missed it"

"Bronte will be thrilled."

"Oh right"

"It... will be fine, aye. Fine."

"And... from what I've noticed, many librarians seem to equate some prestige with a Bookwyrm in their company. It maybe that Bronte will grant you a bit of status"

"Oh... Bronte is Bronte's."

"True. Heck, more likely Brontei will consider you HER charge among dragon kind. " A wink

"Hm. I suppose she is like a cat, in that way..."

"I do not mind being a dragon's pet."

"Well, given how she allows us to tend to her every need and we are grateful for it, yes, she's very catlike" He sighs

"You found her for me."

"Please, I was just the instrument of 'meet cute' for you two" A grin then "Doyle's keeping Yorrick by the way. So my cat is.. ah, not my cat anymore"

"Oh! Oh... should we get one for the house?"

"Although Jacob and Frisby are quite fond of each other..."

"If the cat ate the rat... though it's my own fault with Yorrik. Doyle took him on trips and such."

"Well, Doyle deserves companionship, too..."

"He does, and he's really great with him.. so.." He rallie a smile "Good for Yorrik. If you want a cat and think we can keep it from attacking Frisby... then sure. We'd have room for it."

"Yeah, perhaps a Papillon? Or a Corgi? Corgis are said to have ancient ties to fae... and aren't as rare as glen of Immal terriers"
