"Ah" A smile "He's giving you the whole kenobi run.. 'certain point of view' or 'don't over look the treee while admirng the forest' or is it 'the small things matter'?"

Sniff.

"The tree and the forest must both be there!"

"But if you can't appreciate the beauty of a single tree, on it's own, whether it is standing alone in a field or amid many other trees-aren't you missing something wonderful?"

Sounding a BIT like Emmit there and perhaps not on purpose.

SIGH.

"I can. But that is not the point!"

"Ah." he says "Well, I know he can be frustrating."

"I wish to understand the tree and the forest and the twining of roots and the ants that climb and the birds that perch and the wind that shakes the timbers!"

He looks torn between finding her wonderful and finding her adorable... yes, he thinks, she is definitely wondorbful.

"My love is a grasping witch, who grabs the tapestry and every stitch.. with a single thread she might start, but she'll take it all, every part. Just like she took the whole of me.. .though she started with my heart, you see?"

Zara's phone buzzes.

"Three guesses.. August, August... or Vashti" He says it buzzes.

She checks. "August."

Beep "Hello?"

And yes, she is still perched on Earl's back like a spider monkey.

"Was a time even my attempts at bad rhyming poetry got me a kiss on the cheek.. just saying..."

Her on his back doesn't bug him. She's so light if he sneezed she might blow off.

A quick kiss, where his ear meets his jaw.

"I can talk, aye. Earl and I are packing."

"Packing?"

"For th eLibrary, aye?"

"Yes?!? -Great!-" That boyish joy, that labby eagerness. "Ok.... I was wondering. Just throwing this out there to ask but.... what would you think about asking Tylar and Vince to come with us?"

"Because of the banner thing?"

"...ah..."

"Tylar and Vince?"

Assuming she whispers that outloud "VInce? The pooka guy?"

"There's a specific book about my heritage and that banner thing that my, ah, fraternity brothers want me to find. It's important."

"Aye... but... "

"...I don't know..."

"Vince is... is.. boisterous..."

"I do like him! But..."

"I know it's a new idea. There are a lot of those around right now but I'm just asking. If you're not ok with it, then it's the three of us and I'm perfectly happy with that."

"He is."

Earl looks up on his back to read his lady's expressions.

"I was thinking, though, about who's going and... well, if you think about it, we'll probably meet Caspian on the way...."

"Strength through Diversity?"

"Oh, likely Caspian, tis our luck!"

"Velvet, she could watch the library...."

"I thought the same."

There's a beat of quiet. "We could ask one of your Uncles to come, just to make sure we have everyone....."

"Do I want to know?" Earl wonders

"And maybe Caesar, but this could be getting silly."

"....No Uncles." Aug is now on speaker.
