"Though I have seen some heinous uses of that art."

"I suppose any form of power can be abused. Trolls know this and that's why we have a code about our strength"

Zara nods. "Dagda, aye?"

"You've heard of it. Few non trolls know of it..at least not in full. Tis a good set of rules, but hard to follow"

Siv does sigh at the area the list was burned at.

"Forgive. But... I had to. I had a duty."

"Oh I understand all about duty. I just...well... I want to protect my family and that seemed like a good fail safe but.....what's done is done. Now all I have only one thing to remember bits by."

"You know her name, aye?"

"I do" She agrees

"I doubt you will just forget it, written down or not."

"No I don't think I'll ever forget the look on her face when I whispered it to her either" Pleased. Then the pleasure dims "Part of me wonders if I shouldn't have slit her throat, but.. no...safe haven, life... even if SHE did not value these things, I did and do."

"You said you got her to Oath?"

"I did" Pleased "It was more the threat to spread her name around than anything else I admit, but the knife at her throat was an attention getter"

Zara nods. "So... breathing easy now at Rivervale?"

"Knock on wood" and she does "Aye. Dagmar's agog with this fine horse mum won in a duel. Oh that was a good deed." And she tells Zara about it

"Dagmar... she's the big surly one, aye?"

"You'll have to narrow it down...because Jaymes might fit that too." She smiles "Yes.... though less surly than she was. She's...had a hard path. We're lucky that her path turned to us."

"I've not really spoken to her, so I shall trust you. As much as I care not for the sidhe monopoly... aye, keeping it in Liam hands seems the best option."

"Ah, the monopoly is shifting yet I think. I mean, I have even heard of noble troll lodges" A wink, she is relaxing now better "Sylvi is the one you want for subtely, a real fashionista but she knows how to sway folks. Gerd? Mm she might get there. SHe is going to be a sorceress one day."

"I could see that." A smile. "She's very much a wilder now."

"OH! Oh, that reminds me.. when you return...."

"yes?"

Zara is up and rummaging in drawers.

A curious tilt to her head

She turns up with a silver mesh ball attached to a chain. A bat charm dangles at the end. "An infuser."

"I've tea for her to try, too..."

"An infuser? " She takes it

"To make tea. Loose leaf is superior to bagged."

Indeed - she's dividing samples into little ziplocks for travel.

"Gerd's drinking tea now? " SHe blinks "I'm gone for a little while and she's British"

A sniff.

"She's cultured. Tea is a refined drink. We had a lovely conversation."

"Well, Cultured I admit I am not. Heck, when Unseelie I'm a bit of a swine" An admission "Just seems a lot of hoops to jump through when all You want to do is wet your whistle"

"Tea is... well, it is about the experience, not just having a drink. The ritual is part of it."

"Earl Gray to the East, Darjealing to the North, Green to the South, and Camimile to the west... lend me your class." She sips her tea then smacks her lips "Not feeling it."

"I try."

"No fault of yours," She says "It IS tasty though, thank you"

"You are welcome."

Siv looks speculative... when a gabby troll is speculative, it means they actually are pondering consequences.

Zara settles, sipping her own tea. She can wait.

Then "Zara.. ah.. do you know how to read what treasure do?"

"To an extent. I can willow whisper them, which is usually easier than trying to kenn it out."

"I really need to learn primal" She says "But I have so many other arts to catch up on"

"I know the feeling!"

A grin "Learning metamorphosis now... don't want to have to rely on others for disguises"

"oh.. but ah.. back to the subject.. since you can willow whisper treasures...?" She reaches into her pocket "WOuld you care to take a look at this? WIth the list gone it's.. well, it's pretty much all I have as a momento. I kind of want to make sure it's not poisonous"

"Oh, that does seem a useful art. I fear most of mine are more cerebral..." She holds out a hand for the treasure.

"I learned how to whisper so I could speak to the garden spiders."

"Ha" A smile "Well, why not? Who doesn't want to talk to artists?"
