"You ok?"

She nods, gumming hard on her lower lip.

Earl doesn't know what to say, but then, what's more important is how Miriam and Zara handle it.

"Ok." She nods to Hirim. "Thank you."

"Feh. Fine. Still buying the round, nu?"

"Yeah. Sure." She responds, shrugging.

"Well!" Says the Count.

"I don't think I can top that for Beltaine, and I don't intend to try. May all make Merry and indulge. Court is adjourned!"

And Protocol is gone!

Zara remembers to breathe. She examines the calloused hand caught in her own. "But I just got you. Are you okay? Do you feel okay?"

(He is watching closely, dark eyes sharp)

She laughs, rasping. "Sure! Feel fine. What, I'm a doll? You just got. Feh."

"Feels better. Like I can't piss, and suddenly, Whoosh!"

A blink, a beat, and then that raspy sound that counts as her laugh.

A smile, "I....wow. I did not see that coming."

Miriam grins at Zara's 'laugh' and then nods at the troll. "Yeah, well.... felt out of balance. I got a 15 year old daughter, right? I know when I had her, I was there. So. Time."

"As feels right by you, Miistress Miriam. So... " He smiles, "What will you be asking the Count for as a Togail boon?"

Another squeeze, closing her eyes at "daughter." She nods.

"Yeah. Maybe. Think so." To the troll and she pulls Zara in for a hug.

Zara allows it, burying her face against the nocker's shoulder.

"Oy, c'mon. Beltaine, nu?" The nocker mutters softly into her earldebuke

Zara nods, pulling away. "Time to celebrate, right?"

"Yes!" Miriam scrubs at her face and shoves Zara away, into Earl coincidentally. "Ok, so, drinks? Party!!!"

There is a corresponding cry and hue from those gathered... who are, let's face it, mostly common, nockers, boggans, and a few others.

(There are a few satyrs present. They do have a few musical instruments.)

Oh god, all of the drunken nockers...

(Ice is giving the satyr VERY hard, dirty looks)

He takes Zara gently into his arms, "You okay?"

Zara nods, smiling, though her eyes are bright. "Feeling too many feelings!"

Miriam is drawn away by her now-peers, the Masters of Alabaster Hollow, who... well, want to drink with her.

Hirim and Ratchet.... have found something else to do.

Janet is right in the thick of it, offering a clap on the back and a very small glass of distilled swamp and fire.

He chuckles lightly at Zara's comment, "Would you like to go outside and dance in the woods with me? I have to return to talk to the count before I leave, but that can be hours from now."

(He sets the glass down, and is weaving nearer the pair)

"Well, Ima is... set. Yes. Woods would be nice...."

he begins to glide and guide Zara away towards the woods

"You know, I barely saw the woods here the last time... " He admits
