"There's that eshu." He tilts head back, thinking* "August, sometimes. Jeremy, but you don't see him. And...." He is trying to think*

"And...okay, that's it, I think."

"Drink the water, it'll bother you less." (A roll of a shrug)

"Ha! No thanks. I'm not -really- into other women. I figure, as much of a pain in the ass as I can be by myself? Why would I want to double that by getting romantically tied to another lady? Am I right?"

"And there'd be too much competition for bathroom space and mirror time, you know? Lemme get another shot of that hooch. It was -good-."

"You're asking me?" (A snort and twist of a grin) "They run. Remember?" (He picks up the bottle and willingly enough, refills her glass) "If you have to puke, I suggest those hedges, over there. Nocker already did."

"Good to know." She salutes him with her glass and down it goes. She doesn't even try to hide making a face this time, either.

(Not to be left out, a splash for himself, too)

(Returning the salute, and blowing out a breath that feels like fire afterwards)

"Going to go look for Dria, I think. I'll pick you up off the ground on my way back."

(A smirk as he says this, pushing the bottle towards her)

(And he'll rise -- stagger, probably, but catch himself on the chair -- then stride with unsteady purpose to search for Janet. Hopefully, for the sake of his sight and sanity....he won't find her)

Some small god of fortune has smiled upon him... Janet is nowhere to be found/
