Feeling secure, she grabs Jimmy with BOTH hands and tugs down.

WHOMP.. THump .On the ground with a drone.

"Did someone try to steal my drone? or try to steal US?" he asks

"Some kind of magic, for sure. Felt some glamour."

"Definitely felt like a cantrip to me too, but not sure which sort. Gimmix maybe but it was STRONG. I mean, you handled it, but it would have lifted me easily" He looks at his fingers, now red with light bruising after he criss crossed them

"I mean, you coulda let go."

"Nu uh, I stole this drone fair and square" PING, then he adds "I didn't actually steal it. I'm just.. you know how much these things cost? The good ones?" A stubborn look. No ping there

"Honestly? No actual idea. Probably more money than I have."

"What's it for?"

"Photography, nothing dirty... I use it to take pictured of nature with less chance of disturbing nature. Ravines, waterfalls, that sort of thing. Ironic a tree snagged it first thing though. I need practice"

"I didn't even consider it being used for... right, okay. Sounds cool."

"But just stealing it for funsies?"

"....pooka?"

"Or another piskie with an itch" he frowns "I mean, I hate to say it, but we do get compulsive"

"I... y'think? Always seemed to me it was more like you stole shit more on accident."

"Usually, some piskies don't fight it, or try to redirect it but as a rule, we are driven by more than the price of an object, and more how 'neat' it is, how interesting. A drone fits both pricey and interesting"

"You always gave my stuff back. SOmetimes before I even noticed it was gone."

"Probably good, if it was unseelie season. I get a little... uh.. protective... in the winter."

"I try to be nice about it. " He nods "And yeah, no shame though, we all have priority shifts when we cross over"

"I guess I base most of what I know about piskies on you. Oh, hey, how is your student doing?"

"Oh, Serenity is good. There was a whole thing where this investigator looked for her locally... and suddenly I had an adventure... handy for that, fledges. Is that what it's like to be you all the time?"

"And, well, I'm actually more forgetable than most of my kith, for good or ill so I'm not that typical. We are adorable though, we Piskies"

"Adorable, huh?"

"Well, if we hang around adorable people" Sheepish

"Anyway, thanks for helping me. I better put this away before who ever tries again. Hey, let me know if you guys want a spare blanket. My grandmother sent me THREE so I don't get cold, and told me to give the other two to friends. I got a blue one, a green one, and a red one"

"Yeah?"

"Maybe you should use one to woo a girl."

"Girls like blankets?" Surprised "I guess I could try. Thanks!"

"Anyway, let me know if you guys want one for Odin or something" He offers "Thanks again, Sam. You're always good to have around when shit gets weird"

A small smile. "Thanks."

Waving, he heads off. And Sam? Sam returns to her and Symon's place (And how NICE is that, to know it is THEIRS?) ... where she may have to molify Odin with more pets, or perhaps a tuna treat.

The price one must pay. Chivalry calls.
