A resigned sigh, and she holds out a knuckle for Odin to rub his cheek against. He prefers to self-pet sometimes.

He grinds his face against her knuckle just right

And then grows annoyed, for there is a knock at the door

Who DARE?

She collects Odin in the crook of her arm - he might consent to be carried, he might jump down, he might (annoyingly) chose to climb up to her shoulders. "One sec!"

"no problem" A familiar voice, yet hard to place. Male. Tommy? Timmy?

Odin allows this carrying, for NOW.

She opens the door. "Hey?"

"Hey, Sam. Sorry to intrude and all. I got a problem and I could use your help. Could you give me a lift up a tree? I.. uhm lost a drone"

Odin chooses NOW to climb up on Dagmar's shoulder.

"Gah. Butt. In. Face. Dammit."

"Yeah, let me get the goblin down. I can help."

"Sorry about the timing" He says as Sam gets catbutt face "How do you SEE anything like that?"

"You don't." She dislodges the tom, to gently set him on the floor.

Tail up in faux offense, he walks off from the two two leggers who don't know how lucky they are to have their laps used by cats

"Well, He's got opinions" JImmy notices the obvious.

"So many. Though he's a doll-baby compared to Lovecraft."

"Don't let him hear you say that. Anyway, that big oak on Campus has eatten my drone. I feel like Charlie Brown with a kite"

"Oaks aren't too bad to climb if you can make it to the first fork... I mean, if you aren't a small giant, either." A self-depreciating twang there.

"Maybe I give you a boost?"

"That was my hope. I'm not the shortest piskie but..." Sheepish look

"Ain't the tallest?"

"Yup. Help me Trolly One, you're my only lift" a smile

A softly amused grunt, and she follows Jimmy out.

They don't travel too far. Sure enough, there's an Oak tree , and somehow, that drone has gotten wedged JUST perfectly between two branches well out of an easy reach for most.

Dag cranes her neck - could Jimmy reach it from her shoulders?

Heck, could SHE get it, herself?

She could not, not without a hella leap .. which she MIGHT be able to do... but easier would be to lift Jimmy. That would work

"Okay. So, if I kneel, you think you can get up on my shoulders?"

"Sure, you've got broad ones.... uhmm.. I mean that respectfully" he adds

"Hey, Symon is your boyfriend and could do horrible things if he thinks I've insulted you. I'm keeping communication clear" he says

The idea that Symon could be the boyfriend other guys don't want to offend might be.. new, or might not.

The main effect it earns is a happy bloom of purple across her cheeks.

"You'll be fine. Sy and I are good."

"Okay, let me know when you're ready, and yeah. I think I saw him smile recently, but don't tell him I spotted it"

"Oh, smart. Good sense of self preservation." She kneels with her back to the piskie, and braces her arms so he can use them to help climb.

And he clambers up nimbly onto her shoulders, "Ready!"

"Steady." She holds on to his shins as she stands up.

And steady he is. Now he grabs it "Got it I..."

There's a flash of glamour around the drone

And suddenly, it starts to LIFT Jimmy... and, as she is holding onto him, it starts to lift Dagmar too. She's already an inch off the ground.

"Uhm.. Sam? Did you do this?"

"NO."

She keeps one hand holding Jimmy's leg, and grabs at a tree branch with the other.

She snags the tree, now a foot off the ground. The drone tries to pull them further up, but troll might is troll might.

Jimmy however grunts as he is pulled by it, Dagmar won't let him go, he won't let the drone go ,so he's being stretched a bit

She wraps her legs around the trunk of the tree so it's not all dependant on one might bicep.
