Shana Marcy Garb aka Myrine? is running for her damned life!

When she first became a satyress, it was traumatic and then exhilarating, and she grew to like the perks!

Outside of her dream dance, however, she hasn't had any interactions with PREDATORY chimera

She has a pig.

But the pig isn't with her.

And that's both good and bad. Maybe her pig would protect her? but she wouldn't want him eaten either

Fortunately, satyr speed is keeping her alive.

And the weirdest thing? The various ordinary students on Campus don't realize her danger! They don't SEE the monster coming after her! Despite the fact it is bigger than SHE is

MUCH MUCH bigger...

"Working out professor? " One student calls as she shoots by "Good for your health!"

"You have no idea," Shana replies and turns a corner.

The thing lumbers after her. She has to wonder who dreamt this thing up!

She wonders if screaming would get folks calling for a drug intervention?

"YOU TASTEY" IT slathers and reaches

She scrambles back

"Go eat someone else" She snaps at it.

A confused senior says "Honest, I didn't offer. My girlfriend would kill me"

Well, let's hope that doesn't end up getting me on some report "Sorry, miscommunication" She assures "Pardon. I have to run now."

And she does

"ugh! " the monster snaps as it struggles to keep up "HATE FAST FOOD!"

A glance back over her shoulders. Fine, it's scaring her, maybe it deserves to be mocked in turn "Meep Meep!" she says and races on

The roadrunner runs into a brick wall. A tall, blue, brick wall.

"WHOA!"

She looks up, and up "Oh, Dagmar, Run, it's after me!" She rambles

A slowly arched brow, a grunt, and she carefully steps around and in front of the satyr grump. Flyswatter is already in hand.

Flyswatter seems to hum with energy. The approaching creature is 'buggy' enough to attract it's name purpose

"CAUGHT YOU HA I EAT YOU AND..." The creature lumbers towards the satyr only to realize the satyress is not the only kithain there

"Hi!"

SWING!

The creature has some chittin to act as armor. It has a lot of mass. It is, arguably, tough.

But this is kind of like saying a pick up truck is tough when facing a tank

So the creature SHRIEKS as the bug carving instrument wielded by a giant severs an entire appendege

Only the two kithain are aware of this

As some students only see a student making a swinging motion while a professor hides behind her. Shana says "Helping her with an improv class"

The students nod and move on

She follows up the swing with a spear-point thrust at the chimera's belly.

And the 'armor' cracks like like ice before a solid harpoon, thin ice at that

"From Hell's heart, I stab at thee! For Hate's sake, I spit at thee!" Myrine calls out as she has her revenge... via troll proxy

"NOT FAI..." And the creature breaks into shards of chittin, and the rest puddles out in inky goo.

Flyswatter is positively SHINING with it's own light

"Good boy." She reassures the polearm while cleaning it off on the grass. "That the only one, doc?"

"Yes, thank goodness, at least the only one I saw I ...ewww" She looks as maggots seem to spew out of the juices

"Symon would love this."

"Symon can HAVE this" She observes

The maggots get.. fuzzy?

A wrinkle between her eyebrows, something sad there.

And less and less are they maggots. More and more, they become caterpillars! Having fed on the destoryed nightmare

"Huh."

"Wait, what is..oh look"
