PROFESSOR Shana Marcy Garb blinks as she looks out the window of her office. Odd. She swore she saw...hooves on that long haired girl.

She goes back to putting things up in her office. A few small touches here and there are really shaping things up .

Her name plate makes her smile. It is a vanity, but it makes her feel rather grown up, in the good way of grown up, which, she must admit, is probably juvenile of her Life is full of contradiction

She checks the books on her shelves. She smiles at the ceramic pig bookend she deliberately put near the works of Francis Bacon.

"Some folks won't get it" She says aloud.

"Hey," the Ceramic Pig says "If they can't get or appreciate the obvious joke, they're probably dull anyway"

"True" She nods to the pig, then puts in other books

It's quite a sampling. Some she loves. Some make her think and she can respect.

that done, she sits down and has a sip of her coffee.

Only then does she look back at the shelf, nearly choking.

Did... did the ceramic pig talk?

For a moment, she feels like there might be something true to her imaginings. For a moment, she feels a calling, not just from within, but from without.

Then, she notes she's got a new email, She clicks it "Wait, what? Administration says the state changed the policies on record keeping last week, and want all records from the last THREE weeks resent?

"That makes no damn sense" She huffs, and the wonder is shot.

At least for now. She gets to work. Trying to figure out how she can give 3 weeks of records when she hasn't been working here for one yet!
