Shana Marcy Garb, no, PROFESSOR Shana Marcy Garb, age 31, enters Rutgers campus with a smile. This job opportunity has taken her by surprise, but it's a pleasant one. Sure, some of the other staff will raise a brow as she's no gray haired veteran, and some students may mistake her for a non trad, but she'll soon prove her worth. She's sure of it.

"Pardon me," She inquires of a janitor who is staring at her. He looks... a bit pale and she wonders if he might be anemic?

The Janitor seems almost surprised to be noticed at all,, and mumbles something.

"Sorry, I didn't hear that,," She admits and moves a bit closer. Odd, why does she smell old parchment and ash? Must be something he cleaned up, "I'm Professor Shana Marcy Garb" It feels so GOOD to say that title. She worked hard enough for it, "Replacing professor Holden? Do know where the..."

Before she even finishes, the janitor is pointing across the quad towards the very building she was seeking, he speaks softly, but a bit more clearly "there... office is to the left of the old oak. welcome to rutgers... and your fate."

for a moment, she feels the urge to shrink back. There is something deeply unsettling about this man . It's not unwelcome desire; as a moderately good looking woman she's dealt with that before. It's more..... he seems more real than things, and more alarming. It's odd. "Ah, thank you... pardon, I really should get going."

"Oh no rush, we're all claimed in due time" is what she thinks she hears him say and she moves a bit quicker for it despite his assurance there is no rush.

The Janitor watches her go, seeing the colors and light she leaves in every step. He will spread word to watch her. She will emerge soon here, I think

And he goes back to sweeping autumn leaves
