Siv gone for a bit, Sylvi and Dagmar may or may not get to talk about what was passed on

Most of the stuff that's going is packed. Down to the get-the-deposit-back cleaning.

Fortunately, two of the residents have had excellent training in such things courtesy of the Hearth.

Dagmar is, by now, a meticulous cleaner.

The two of them are definitely better than the average student renters. "It's going to be weird, being back in our homes for the summer."

A grunt - agreement, it sounds like.

"I bet you can't wait to get back on patrols."

"I can't. I miss it."

"I miss home."

Sylvi nods. "I'm gonna miss this place, too, though. I mean...it's not much, but it's been ours, right?"

That gets a small smile.

"Yeah, kinda."

She sighs and grins. "I'm a sap. I get sentimental about every place I've lived, even for a little bit."

"You do."

"Alaska, the Farm..."

"You gotta be careful about that."

"You don't?"

"Like, getting attached to a place too quick, you can get hurt."

She thinks about that and nods. "I fall too quick, huh?"

"I mean - it leaves you vulnerable, yeah?"

"So far, pretty sure you can go back to any of those places. So I guess maybe it's fine?"

"Well...most of them," she says. "I mean, yeah, I could go back to all, but...some are more awkward than others, y'know?"

She nods.

"I do probably want to visit the Farm soon, though."

"You try to go back, it won't be the same." A crease between her brows, a flash of anxiety that is quickly buried.

"Well, no, but I already learned that. About the Farm, at least. It's way different than it was the first time I went, but that's mostly because I'm different. But...it's still nice. And maybe it can be something new in some ways. Familiar, but with surprises still."

"Yuh-huh."

"Connor is spending the summer away."

"Away? At Silverwolf?"

She bites on her lip and nods.

"Well...yeah. Hard to say what experiences he'll have, right? But y'know he's always gonna adore you."

"I guess."

"And Symon's doing a... he called it a summer intensive?"

"So he won't be around much. Might leave me the only wilder at Rivervale. I mean, I know, I'm welcome at Goldfinch.."

"Well, and I'll be at the Lodge a lot. Plus, everybody others will be home, right? Like Lupe, and...oh, maybe May can come visit?"

She forces a smile and nods. "Yeah."

She catches the tension in the smile and gives a sympathetic grin. "But who knows what that'll be like because we've all gotten a little different in the last several months, right?"

"Yeah."

"But good, I'm sure. May's doing good."

"So's Lupe."

"Good. So...look...we'll figure out how our old friendships work now, and everything's going to work out okay." Encouraging.

"And you get to take CJ on kid-sized adventures, right? Playground and so on."

"Yeah. He's getting SO big, and independent."
