Her brow furrows and she looks at the ceiling. "Seems weird to say that about an Ailil hold. But...Nadeen would never let anything happen to him, and now that the Baron is in his right mind...I mean, it's getting better between them, right?"

"Agreed. The Baron got his head out of his ass, too."

"And yeah, Nadeen wouldn't let anything bad happen to Shortstack."

A grin. "Good."

"Lots of horses to see, too."

"Not to mention the dogs."

"When do you head up?"

"Thursday."

"Gonna be back for Samhain?"

"Absolutely."

"Well."

"Dunno."

"Maybe I should do that at home?"

"Maybe. I mean, I'll be at Goldfinch, of course, and you're more than welcome there, y'know? I just know it's not always your speed."

"Well, unseelie can be a different speed."

"We're doing a Dead Musicians theme."

A grin. "Yeah, that's true." She stretches.

"Yeah? Suits the hold."

"Piper thinks so, too. She and Siv and Jonas are coming as different versions of David Bowie."

"Ha!" That gets a rare smile.

"I'm going to rock the Amy Winehouse look."

"Wonder what Symon's gonna do. He doesn't like Goldfinch because it's too noisy...there's not a lot of action at the Lodge...and I can't imagine he'd want to hang out at Silverwolf."

A glance over at his closed door, shoulders slumping. A shrug.

"He might just be on his computer. Dunno."

"Or maybe he's gonna hob-knob with his fellow sluagh somewhere."

A glance from Dagmar to the closed door, and back. A frown. "I feel like we see less of him now than we did back at high school. We should make him come out and hang with us."

Frown, shrug.

"He's doing his thing."

"Probably happy to not be pressured like Anne-Marie did."

"Oh, I don't believe for a second he's not getting pressured. I bet she texts him every day."

"Whatever. His loss. You and I are amazing," she says with a grin. "Hey, we should go out."

"To a club or something."

"We... could? That'd be something different,"

"Sure!" She sits up, encouraged by the fact that she's gotten more than a shrug in response. "There's plenty around campus. We've just been so focused on...well, EVERYTHING else." A broad gesture. "A crowd and some music would be fun."

She bites on her lip but nods again.

"Yeah, maybe?"

"Maybe, nothing. C'mon." She gets up. "Let's go!"

"...Now?"

"Why not? I'm in the mood. C'mon."

Blink. Blink. "I guess?"

A brief bit of getting ready (brief for Sylvi, anyway), and they're soon on their way.
