Sam doesn't... really... know how to get ready. But she does change from her hoodie to a... slightly closer-fitting long-sleeved top. It reveals her clavicles, but isn't low enough for cleavage.

Sylvi approves. "Maybe a necklace...or a choker?"

"I... I have one?"

"Cool! Pair of earrings, and you're good." She's changed into a tighter pair of jeans and a textured knit sweater that reveals her midriff.

Dagmar does pull out her hoops - the only non-studs she owns.

She looses most of her hair, letting her face be famed by the wild mane of blonde curls.

Sylvi offers to touch up her eyeliner just a bit.

"Thanks Sylvi. You're so much better at this."

A shrug. "Practice. Experience. Hey, you're the uber-jock. Wouldn't be fair if you were good at EVERYthing, right?"

Soon, they're ready, and it's time to go clubbing!

A snort, a shrug. "Right."

The larger girl - even for a troll, Dag is big - trails after in Sylvi's wake, letting the more confident teen take the lead here.

They have some options... one spot Sylvi heard about is called the Blue Box! For two trolls, that name might be promising

Sylvi notices that Dagmar's staying a step behind, pauses for a pace to let her catch up, and takes her arm companionably. "C'mon!"

"Coming!"

She doesn't let go of Dagmar's arm as they head into the club, beaming at whoever's at the door.

"You had a good time at home? Last weekend? Sorry I didn't... I got caught up with the competitions, so I didn't check in much. Your mom's food was real good, though."

She shuts up!

THe guy at the door motions them through saying "You ladies have any trouble, order a pink angel. The bartender and I will.. handle it"

"Perfect." she says to the door guy.

"Pink angel" She repeats in a mutter and nods. Not that she can't handle trouble!

"Oh..." she catches up with what Dagmar was asking...and smiles at something. "Yeah. It was good! And you rocked it!"

She pauses to get the lay of the land inside the club.

She cautiously eyes the interior of the club, pre-emptively tensing her shoulders as if someone tugged upwards on a string between them.

Very different attitudes...Sylvi's looking for fun, Dagmar's ready for a fight.

The club is hopping, it has almost a horse shoe kind of pattern, if the inside hollow of the horse shoe were where most of the dancing and mixing was going, but the prongs /legs were the second floor balconies overlooking it, and much less busy

Sylvi gets a sense of the place, and tugs Dagmar's arm to lead her towards the bar. "Drinks," she says loud enough to be heard over the music. "Then dance!"

"...Right!"

She cautiously raises a hand for the bartender's attention.

Sylvi nods encouragement. They're not old enough to order alcohol in NJ...but maybe she should try? Their height might be persuasive.

"What can I get you?" One guy behind the bar asks

Sylvi waits for Dagmar to order first.

"Dr. Pepper?"

"Got it" And a glance over to Sylvi

"Virgin Mojito!" Sylvi pipes up.

"You can... I won't judge, Sylvi."

"Oh, nah." She shrugs easily. "I'm good."

They may notice some dancers are same sex, though it's hardly the majority

She pays and leaves a tip when the drinks arrive. "You can get the next ones."

The music selection is decent. Sylvi may not sing like Piper, but she's gotten her music who is who and what's in cultivated thanks to Goldfinch

"Sounds good."

Sylvi sips and bops her head along to the music a bit. Almost out of habit, she kenns the room to see if there are other fae there. Not really looking for them purposefully.

Sam bites briefly on her lip, trying to relax and follow Sylvi's lead. Fun! This is fun!

The music is okay, not too loud or electronic. That helps.

And they do notice some other changelings! There is a satyress with a RIDOnKUULOUSLY long set of hair

An up-nod to the satyress if they happen to make eye contact.

She sees Sylvi and grins, and keeps dancing... it's like her hair is her partner

Sylvi points her out to Dagmar, in case she missed her.
