"Me neither" She admits "Sometimes it feels like everything is so spread out. I mean, folks are still here... the connections are still here... but I feel like I have to go further to walk them?"

"Growth, maybe?"

"Ugh.. Growth sucks" She laughs

"Change sucks."

"But... maybe not all of it is all bad, in the end."

"In the end" She nods "Still a rough ride"

"Kerri's a good Chief. Goldfinch has made a lot of folks feel welcome. We have lots more people and... and yeah, it's still rough."

"I'm pretty notoriously awful at how I handle change."

"Look, if you were perfect? I'd probably hate your guts" She drinks and smiles

A snort.

"I am so, so far from perfect."

"Symon thinks you're close, I can see it in his eyes when you two are together, and any flaws he sees? He is bonkers about those too"

"Sy probably knows my flaws better than anyone else."

"So you know that they're not so bad" She points out "Honestly, you two have driven my boggan dar wonky for a while. Will they, won't they? When will they see it in each other? I know you're both private people but the connection is just so OBVIOUS"

"To a boggan, I mean"

"Well. We had some stuff to work out."

"Growth" A nod "I'm happy for you guys. I can get you a discount at..." She stops "Guess I can't anymore" A sigh

"Well, I don't need it. I like the pizza better at the other place, anyways."

"BLASPHEMY" Gasp

A wolfish grin.

"It's a Karoke Dive, and second hand Arcade that is like one step over a Chuck E Cheeses"

She stops "It does have werewolves I hear but not the point"

Then "Maybe I should try the pizza there, you think?"

"We could go. I got friends there."

"You know, I would like that." a smile escapes her "I might feel guilty later"

"You are allowed to eat at other places."

"Doubly so since they tried to guilt trip you. They don't own you. You deserve to have the life you want, not the one they planned for you."

"Well, you're right, I KNOW You're right, up here?" She taps her head "But here?" She taps over her heart "It may take a while. Still... I guess it can start with a pizza "

"When do you want to go?"

"Tomorrow?"

"You might even see the pack. Wait until you hear Lulu sing."

"I"d love it" she smiles "Thanks. I best go put the last of the things in my room" A beat as she grabs afew more things then goes "Really, thanks. "

And up to the stairs she goes
