Gerd is embarrassed, even as she looks for more Yule Lads to hunt or pop. If she sees Dagmar, she winces guiltiy

"Sorry, Dagmar... I just .. uhmm" She tromps through the snow, Eddie at her side "I had a Vegard moment... and Symon saw. I'm feeling self conscious about it"

Her forehead crinkles. "Must be freaky. Scary. Sy didn't say shit about it, though - he wouldn't."

"Oh he wasn't alone... apparently the Yule lads are at it this year, not sure if you got the word yet ,and one of them steaals sausages.. so stole Eddie's Snausages. I Popped him into the lake... well, Vegard got to pounding in my head.. and when I tell the Chief, she says we could use his advice, so I play puppet in my own body give his advice, which is good mind you, and then Symon raises this.. BROW... I don't know if it was meant for me but I felt like I'd been farting in a hot tub"

"...You could ask him."

"Sure, use logic." She grumbles "I might if it continues. The worse thing is, while Vegard is talking through me, he throws in comments about MY boyfriend or starts to. I'm not a fan of having my love life brought up by my past life"

"Vegard sounds like a jerk. Glad I got to meet you, instead."

She smiles at that "Thanks... he wasn't that bad but.. thanks." She says "I guess I needed to hear that. He was this GREAT Mountain, old War Vet in the Accordance war, bearer of the hornshield." She holds it up "And at times I worried I was supposed to be just like him, but he wasn't my only past life, and I don't always appreciate his pull." A shrug "Anyway, I just felt embarrassed and so I'm jumping on my mission to help stop the Yule Lads while they work on other solutions. Want to come with me?"

"He wasn't your only one. I mean, I've got, like, five or six? I'm sure you have plenty, too. But you are you and not them." A shrug. "So, yeah. We gonna go punch something?"

"We don't want to piss of their mom too much, so no killing, not that we would anyway, but shaking them up , maybe a few love taps and then I send them elsewhere might be a good idea" She nods "Vali is working on a ward with the britches of one Eddie got. She's a GOOD girl"

"She is."

"Anyway, these things have even been harrassing Anne Marie and Symon... one of the Yule Lads eats left overs... which as you know, is 80% of Symon's food"

A grimace. "Shit."

"Yeah, he wasn't happy and I don't blame him. I think Vali is hoping Dirk and Symon will also scare some off. Those two have very different styles but I wouldn't want both mad at me at the same time"

"Oh, they're a hell of a team."

"Now if only Serenity could admit to herself she's panting after our Peacemaker I could stop having to fight the urge to roll my eyes. You don't have to be a boggan to see her fussing at him and seeking him out to HAVE arguments is a substitute for romantic interest"

It doesn't take Dagmar long to find footprints, Chimerical ones... with odd slipper/shoe patterns.. going 'thata way'

Hey, that's towards her own home!

And the smell of baked goods from the Barn hints at which one might be curious about it

"These guys are sneaky, she may not even see them. Door Sniffer loves backed goods" A sniff "Okay, I didn't know your mom spiced even her bread but in this cold weather that sounds so nice"

"Oh, she's making the one with the cinnamon swirl inside."

Eddie licks her chops.

"RIght there with you, Eddie" Gerd says moving closer in troll stealth mode

Troll stealth mode often looks like small hills trying to hunch, but it CAN work

The hills... err trolls, close in the area and see it. Door Sniffer lives up to his name, the big nosed Yule Lad sniffing at the back door of the house and prying it open SLOWLY. He doesn't see them yet. And Tove doessn't seem aware of HIM

Dagmar stretches a long arm out to scruff the lad by the collar, like a naughty puppy.

"Það rignir edik í buxurnar mínar!" Door Sniffer yelps as he is hauled up by his scruff, struggling and kicking out, but as big as Dagmar's arm is, mostly he spins

"You leave my mom alone."

"But ...BREAAAAD" A lick from the, well, he's gross looking
