Dagmar actually seems to enjoy her self-appointed Manage Dinner duties, making sure coffee and tea go out with pie.

It's actually a joyful expression of kindness, and the refugees will remember it always

Kerri chats with those sitting near her, and at least twice during the feast she gets up to circulate among the tables. She tries to speak with everybody at least once during the meal and dessert.

And most are very happy to speak back. Lily and Symon enjoy their properly aged THanksgiving fare

More than once she watches Dagmar's easy management of the others and gives a proud grin.

Sylvi gets a BIG hug from her mother, and Kerri gets one in return.
