"The Mountain will see you now" Says Thane Tiffany dressed like an office secretary

Which is interesting as she's more often seen these days in a fire fighter outfit when on the job, or just blue jeans and sensible top when not.

Piper eyes the Thane with wary respect, the way that long association with Rikki has taught her.

"Thank you!" As she goes in, hoping to see the pooka remain outside.

Jonas says "Ah, thank you, thane, but you said he'd see me..." but he then he sees Piper going in, and then he follows

Sir Vali, Mountain of Rivervale, is dressed in a business suit that looks old fashioned "Now, you lost the bet tiffany so I..." He blinks as Piper and Jonas come in.

Piper can't help but check out his figure, especially after Siv's comment.

A handsome guy. He's a graybeard now, not in hair coloration but in seeming. There is still a boyish charm to him about the lips and eyes. The suit looks very good if out dated.

"Sir Vali, you don't clean up half bad."

"Ah ha..." Vali realizes he has company "Thank you, Piper. My wife and I had a little bet. I won. Won't bore you with the details" Mental note, next time Wife agrees to play Sexy secretary if she loses a bet, make sure she understands sexy secretary doesn't actually make appointments

"Oh. Um. Well, Jonas did make an appointment. If you're actually free? I was hoping to talk to you about something too, in confidence. Like, Mountain stuff."

Vali says "Duty calls then. Jonas, Piper. What can I do for you two?" He motions to some chairs "You two want coffee?"

Jonas says "That's.. very kind, Mountain. If this is a bad time?"

"No no," Vali shakes his head "Its fine. Do I need to talk to you two at the same time or one at a time?"

"Up to Jonas about his thing, though I'm here to support him. Jonas is part of my question, so he stays."

"Do you have any apple cinnamon K-cups?" Hopeful.

"Hold on, The Chief prefers regular but I think Sally mae has a few stashed for use . You, Jonas?" Vali asks.

"Is..that good for the baby?" Jonas asks worriedly to Piper in a quiet voice

She gives him a reassuring pat. "I've been doing some reading, and one cup a day is okay. I'll just switch to herbal tea for anything else."

Jonas looks a bit sheepish, but nods "Thank you"

THen says to Vali "Regular is fine for me, Mountain"

Vali starts to move then grins "Oh wait. I have a secretary." He sing songs "OH TIFF..."

Tiffany peeks out "Yes, Mr. Mountain?"

"Apple Cinnamon K Cup for Miss Piper here, a regular for mr. Jonas, and.. of course you know what I like" He winks at her.

Tiffany's eyes narrow but then she perks up "Yes, Mr. Mountain , sir. I''ll get everyone what they deserve." SWEETLY

ANd she trots into the kitchen

"Could be the best cup of coffee in my life, or the last." Vali mutters "Oh well"

"Maybe i'm not thirsty." She says, nervously.

"Indeed... ah..." Jonas says

"Relax guys. Tiffany would never prank a pregnant woman in anyway that could hinder a child" He assures "Now while we wait for that. What's this about?"

"Do you want to go first, Jonas? Or I can."

Piper hasn't actually mentioned what she wanted to talk about yet.

"AH... after you?" Jonas offers, not sounding sure of what she wants to talk about but that's fine

"Um. I think you probably already know about the baby... and their parentage?" She watches the door, not eager for even a respected Thane to overhear.

Vali sees this caution, and makes a 'wait' motion.

And Tiffany comes out and gives everyone their coffee. "Will there be anything else, Mr. Mountain sir?" LIGHTLY Flirtatious but a warning in her eyes

"You know something, Tiff. You've been great. Why don't you head home, take the day off. " Then more sincerely "And thanks, love."

Tiffany sighs "Sec." Grabs the spoon that is yet to be used by Vali... and replaces it with a new one "Spoilsport."

Vali's eyes widen a bit at the 'spoon' being taken, but he says "Love ya?"

"You better" Tiffany says, then looks at PIper "Congratulations, the first litter is always bigger " she jokes "Let me know if you need some hand me downs"

She considers, then says, "I'd appreciate that." Hoping she's not misunderstanding.

An earnest wag, and Tiffany goes out... there's a clatter as high heels are taken off ASAP.

"I didn't even think about the spoon" Vali admits, then sips "So... yes, I know about the baby, word is spreading. BUT tell me more?"

She fidgets a bit, then takes Jonas's hand in her own. "Has the Hearth or Chieftain told you, um, about, um. The... parentage?"

"The way you word that makes me think they haven't" He says "Every thing okay?"

Jonas looks to Piper "Go ahead and tell him."

"Well, you see..." She takes a breath, then explains, as far as she understands, about Beltaine, and Jonas being away, and Siv's exploits and accomplishments.

A hand on her stomach, she adds, "I'm worried that things might be.... abnormal, or like... I don't mean, but... how.. with the... uh. I just want a healthy baby, you know? And understanding Magic is NOT my forte..."

Jonas stays stoicly quiet. Got to be awkard for him but he says "Siv wore my form and I consider myself the father "

"He IS, for all intents and purposes, should anyone ask." Piper adds, giving his hand a squeeze. "And Siv and I are mothers... to be"
