The little green Never settles on one of Thistle's shoulders, only to be chased off by Citrine! CHIME!

"What? No, they're not mine. Citrine came with me."

"This seems like a normalish amount of Nevers."

"Maybe a little light, compared to home."

"How odd. We usually get only one or two in a week, if that, in the Lodge itself."

"Briar, I can offer you a little bit more, if you like?"

"Weird. I figured they were kinda everywhere."

"Fae Hounds like Kinain or Kithain have kenning. Part of their training in fact. It's usually something tht has to be developed but this fellow has a natural knack looks like"

"A little furry prodigy."

"Muppet has a good sniffer for chimera. The Nevers keep trying to ride him."

"At this point I should remind you that as the Sire is from Silverwolf, we do get first pick" Gladiola points out "And that will interest the Baron. However nothing certain."

A smirk at the mention of Muppet "Muppet's trained himself in Chimerical alertness to save his sanity"

Briar had been eyeing a rather nice looking platter. "Those crunchy bread things are pretty good." She allows. "Better if they had some ham in 'em."

"Quite understood," Kerri reassures her with a grin. Rivervale is full-up with pups, at any rate.

Then a grin to Briar. "That's an excellent suggestion! Would you like to join me in the kitchen to work on exactly that, while they examine the pups some more?"

One by one each pup is 'tested' but in a way that is surprisngly okay to the mom, Gwen praises each "That would be fine, thank you, Hearth. I'll be done soon for now . I'll check on them again after we go to the house"

Briar perks up. "Marigold never lets me in the kitchen when she's working!"

"Absolutely, Dame. Briar, we'll do that after we get you all set up at the Lakehouse."

"Oh, actually we may not be there long I... nevermind" Daireann lips talk sometimes

Briar GROANS, but the promise of food later is almost as good as food now.

"AWRIGHT let's see this stupid lake. Is it true that you gotta lake witch that drops people in to drown?"

Kerri seems to have completely misunderstood what Gwen meant, thinking she was referring to the Lakehouse.

"If you're not careful, you might find out," Kerri says to Briar with a wink.

"Thanks again, Hearth"

"My pleasure. Let's get your bags...."

And soon the entire group is on the way to the Lakehouse.
