Citrine floats after Kerri, into the kitchen. Chime?

"Ivan, make sure nothing gets dismantled" She tells her dog. There, that should do it. Off she goes to that bathroom to freshen up

Ivan looks at Thistle , he'd be more intimidating if she didn't know him, and if he didn't smell of lavender and have a bow tie

Fortunately, Kerri was expecting company, so a platter is already prepared...and might be quickly enhanced with the use of the cauldron. She's a bit surprised to find Citrine in her face. "Oh! Hello. Are you with them?"

The golden Never is big for her kind, and appears to be... enhanced? A wind-up key is in her back, between her wire-reinforced wings. She preens, to be admired.

Thistle also notices that the rafters above are excellent structural support. You could have TWENTY trolls bouncing around on the next floor or roof and things would hold fine.

Kerri does appreciate that this is an unusual Never. "Well, welcome." She adds a tiny bowl of rock candy to the spread and carries the laden tray out to the common room. "Here we go...." she says, setting it on the table.

And Thistle thought she saw something.. move

A pleased jingle, and Citrine alights beside the sugary treat.

"Huh." Squint.

Kerri deftly offers Briar her own plate of bread, cheese, and MEAT...a little away from the main platter. It's a sizeable portion!

A bit of a hiss above the rafters, and a whispered something.

Gladiola returns, looking much better, and with washed hands.

Kerri glances up. Did that sound like a Lovecraft hiss?

Kerri realizes instantly who it must be.

"Thank you for the use of the facilities, Hearth. Perhaps I should check on the puppies first? Duty and all? but as you prefer." She's one of the three of the lodge

"Ya'll got, what's that, the snake?"

"Since you're doing a Viking aesthetic...Jor-mun-summat?"

"Yor-man-gudder? Gander?"

"Looks celtic in parts" Gwen can't help but observe. She IS a Daireann

"Oh, you know how it is...each hold has it's own quirks of sound in the corners." She doesn't want to reveal Lily to people from an Ailil hold, especially.

"The Vikings TOTALLY got in on the hot irish chicks, and brought knotwork."

A nod to Thistle. "Jormungander." Her pronunciation is okay, but not quite like Brekke would say it. "And no, but good call."

The little green never has found the rock candy, and look, here's a coral one!

"Hence the term may 'may the good lord take a viking to you'" Gladiola says utterly deadpan

"And yes, plenty of Celtic elements, too." She ignores Thistles historical interpretation.

"Oy, Balboa."

"Please, everybody, help yourselves."

"Thanks! That spread doesn't look half bad."

"Ah...thank you."

Gwen lets just a bit of smile escape at Thistle, then says to Kerri, "Thank you, Hearth. I hope your daughter is doing well? Baroness Nadeen says she wishes the former emissary all fortune."

"Thank you, yes, she's doing fine. You'll likely see here at some point while you're here, though she spends most of her time at Goldfinch."

Thistle tries a cookie!

"How is Baroness Nadeen?"

"Baroness Nadeen is well enough. She had an exhausting time weaver warding various houses, homes and of course our animal steadings to keep the smoke out earlier. It was quite heroic really, she drained herself but for the people she kept going" Proud of her liege "But she has since had time to recover. "

Gwen can't help but start on the food now that she's been given clearnance, "This is delicious, thank you very much"

"Yeah, this ain't drek!"

"Yes, you had a much harder time of it up there, I understand. We've had a few bad days, but manageable. I'm so glad she's recovered from that."

chime! chime! "Nuh-uh, you have your own candy!"

"That's nocker for delicious" Gwen says of Thistle's comment , least the Hearth be offended.

A grin to both of them at the compliments. "Thank you." She looks to Briar, who is chewing away. Kerri knows enough redcap behavior not to expect a compliment on anything other than quantity.

"Hey, Summerwind did right, once we fixed her up. Air's great now."

"Summerwind?"

"A dragon!"

"Poor thing got too fulla schmutz and smog and fear and turned into a whole thing."

"But you 'fixed' her?"

"A Luckdragon in fact" gwen says "Summerwind is her use name but please don't spread that part around too lightly"

"But we fixed her! Shoulda known ahead that crucibles purify, right?"
