A wry grin. "Mm-hm." Pause. "I think I might know what it was about...."

"Mm. About $20."

She harrumphs. "You're impossible."

"When you have eliminated all which is impossible then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

An eyeroll. "Fine. I'll go to the source. But...whatever the discussion was, it went well?"

A pause.

"Yes."

"I'm glad."

A grin. "It was good to see the grill mysteries being passed on to the next generation."

"Mysteries?"

"I exaggerate. Methodologies. Traditions."

"Mm." he nods, switches the hay to the other side "It was time the girls learned."

"Yes. How do you think they did?"

"Well."

"Well, I know I still hope you and Olgar will continue to lead the grilling efforts, but at least you have somebody who can give you a break, and you trust they'll do it 'right.'"

His beard moves and he glances at Kerri. "Not giving up my grill yet."

"Good." She grins. Another look at the pups, then she sighs. "Well, back to work. Need anything, Frank?"

"I'm good, thanks Kerri."

"Any time, Frank."

She picks up any items that should go up to the Lodge and leaves the stables.

Frank...hangs out.

Or, hangs over. The stall door.

Eddie doesn't seem to mind. And the fuzzy potato pups wriggling together is kind of soothing, like a furry lava lamp

And soon Gerd will get a basket and head to the lake party
