The clean up after Carnivale was smooth and peaceful. Good memories lingered, and breakfast the next day had the Mountain Asking "So, how do folks think it went?"

Kerri sets down a platter of French toast for people to serve themselves from. "I think people had fun? And Lydia was a lovely Carnivale monarch!"

"I'm kind of proud of the whole thing," Vali admits "But yeah, Lydia lit up like a candle" A smile

"Mm," Brekke agrees with a nod. She isn't speaking much, but...she also doesn't seem to be as worn as she usually does after serving as the Carnivale fool.

"The Wayburtons were gushing with delighted," Sally Mae speaks up "The professor was so delighted he forgot to talk politics."

"It's a Carnivale miracle!" Kerri says, raising her orange juice high in toast.

More than a few chuckles there

Frank, sitting next to Brekke, nods with agreement.

Brekke drinks (coffee) to that toast.

Tiffany hugs her husband from behind "Best Carny ever"

Brekke asks Tiffany, "Did you enjoy yourself, Thane?"

"We trolls are the makers of Carnivale" The pooka thane smiles

"I will take that as a yes."

"Oh, credit to Frank" Vali says "Frank, taht outfit was amazing"

"Mm." he frowns, scratches his chin, and sets a small gemstone down next to her plate. "Pardon."

Olgar says "It was a good show, Mountain, but if you're hoping for a medal... you'll have to split it lots of ways"

"I'm good with that" Vali says, and leans up to kiss his wife's cheek

Brekke glances at Frank with a slight grin and colors just a bit as she picks up the gem. Oh, yes, she appreciated that outfit, too.

Kerri grins too, watching them, then distracts the others with, "More bacon, anybody?"

"Would n't say no, hon" Olgar tells her

And the platter of bacon gets passed around.

"So..." Kerri says. "Carnivale's sorted, we have some time before Beltane, so that must mean it's time to clear some space to start seedling trays."

Brekke nods as she passes the platter along. "This is true. It is the season, almost."

Siv returns in looking a bit wiped, her fish costume long gone "Goldfinch was wild, and I only saw half of it." She's clearly cleaned up into some casual clothes. A brief smile "Piper played beautifully..."

Kerri smiles to Siv. "I'm so glad."

Frank puts a bit of bacon on Brekke's plate before serving himself.

"Jack Flap will love that" Vali says "Kid loves seeds"

Siv sniffs the air, "okay, bacon left for me?"

Brekke grins and nods about Jack Flap.

"If there's not, I'll make more," Kerri says, but there does indeed seem to be more bacon.

Frank passes the platter with a few rashers left, to Siv.

Siv says "Thanks, ravenous" She takes it and scarves down "I didn't eat with my costume on, it would mush the fish lips"

"The things we do for art," Kerri says.

"I know " Siv says, clearly taking it seriously

For her part, Kerri looks relieved to have shed the various bits of padding that were part of her costume.

"Sylvi was great though, she and Piper and Etsie kept everything hopping... she turned it into a charity drive on top of things can you believe it? 10 dollar cans of beer, with proceeds going to good causes"

Sylvi's mother is bemused. "They know their audience. I'm glad it was a hit."

Brekke nods. "Goldfinch continues to fulfill its niche."

"Darn well" Siv says "I'll tell you what I know..." A smile and she relates a story or two
