Dagmar is in her comfort spot - helping Kerri, making sure the food is replenished.

Gerd helps Kerri too, and sometimes seems to 'race' Dagmar for the right to help

Kerri is glad to have their help! Both girls know that they've proven themselves to the Hearth, and that she's comfortable relying on them.

Siv is yakking (By troll standards) "And so I had a cast made of the statue"

Brekke glances over in Siv's direction. "Statue?"

"You know the one" Siv smiles "Firnost's?"

Vali grins "You had a cast mold made of it? That's wonderful"

"Aye, if it's ever stolen or damaged we can create another" Siv says "Did the same for Symon's statue at Dark gate"

"I was concerned that was the one," Brekke grumbles, but she's had just enough mead not to care too much.

A smile and she waits till her mother is drinking "On Carnival we steal it, swap it out with one of the Count with a confused look on his face"

Brekke pauses, carefully not removing her horn of mead from her lips until she's certain she's got her composure. "I doubt that is true," says the Gwydion.

"It's a consideration. We'd return it, of course" Siv smiles

"Why go to that effort when you can just reshape it for a brief time with yoru cantrips?" Vali says

Siv's eyes light up. This didn't occur to her

"Mountain, please do not help her."

"What else is a Mountain for?" He says , faux innocence

Tiffany elbows him, "Want me to bite him, Chief? I've done it for less"

"It is a consideration," she intones, echoing her daughter.

Siv nearly snarfs HER drink at that.

Brekke looks pleased at that.

Frank's beard hides most of his expression, but he seems amused.

"That was close" Siv admits. And true

"Too close" Vali agrees

Gerd asks Dagmar "Hey, they're low on butter at the table. Want me to get it or do you?"

Torin is saying "Chieftain, the mrs and I were wondering about spreading some clover near the horse trail. for this spring"

Kerri has turned out a variety of foods...traditional treats (including lutefisk!) for those who like them, and party food designed for contemporary tastes.

"Ah! Yes," Brekke nods to Torin. "A wise choice. Jack Flap might help you with that."

"Son's already champing at the bit to help" He nods

Siv actually tries the Lutefisk and Norweigan flare, and uses the Norweigan names for them

Siv was probably introduced to the Dreaming's version of Lutefisk in her youth. How this compares is hard to predict, but it probably brings up some...vivid memories.

"I got it!"

Indeed, siv is eating more than she has in awhile.

Brekke tries not to hover, but she does appreciate that Siv's got her appetite back.

Brekke isn't alone. Jonas has eaten less because he's watching Siv

And Dagmar gets the butter to Tiffany

Good for a laugh from the grumps, who are old enough to get the joke. The wilders must have learned the joke from elders.

"I don't get it" Siv says

Gerd says "It's really Retro Siv"

"It's a commercial. From, like, before we were born."

Kerri grins. "You kind of had to be there."

Siv nods and looks at Vali "i'm starting to see why you're as messed up as you are, Mountain"
