Jonas says with a somber face "Not easy on this end of the equation either"

Siv gives him a look 'I ought to be mad. But that was KIND of like humor, so I won't discourage it"

Frank turns a page.

Eulalalie says "Permission to go on patrol, mr. King?"

"Don't need my permission, Eulalie." Frank points out.

"Well sir, you're an elder. We try to show respect on the farm for them" She inclines her head "I'll be off then." And she heads out.

Siv watches her go "mmmph. She's wound a bit tight."

"Probably wants to make a good impression." Frank murmurs, reading.

"I suppose" She nods "I'll leave you to your reading but.." She smiles at her father "it was nice talking to you so much. Maybe being grounded won't be so bad"

"You'll be free soon." he assures her.

"I'll take care of myself so not to worry you or mom" She says "or Jonas"

"Thank you" Jonas says

and Frank gets back to his reading, and Siv just enjoys BEING with her father nearby, and her boyfriend snuggled with her. Not so bad being quiet for a time, even if it is alien
