Frank nods agreement to Kerri, then says to Siv "Probably. But I like the cycle I have now."

Eulalie DeBuke, Rover in training enters in with a bag of groceries. "Of all the silly tests"

Kerri goes to meet her. "What happened?"

As Kerri looks, she can see the groceries aren't from here . Indeed, the stuff inside is tropical, and rare this time of year "Rover Olgar gave me a list to shop for ... in bloody brazil"

Her expression is a mix of amusement and annoyance. "He did, did he?"

Siv nods to her dad, "Fair . You always taught me without history we're rudderless"

"I have found a knowledge of history to be helpful."

"He did," Eulalie tells the Hearth "I think it was a test. But not much glory in grocery fetching"

Then the wilder remembers who she is talking to and blushes 'Not that there is any shame in it"

Siv nods "Well, Da, at the risk of making you socialize" She smiles a bit "What's your view on the Accordance War besides it waas a fustercluck?"

Bemused, "Did you see any of Brazil's beauty while you were there, Eulalie?" she asks. "And...do you know exactly what this recipe is supposed to be for?"

"I was in a rush paying attention the silver, but I will say it was colorful scenery in town there. Had to hurry back before the trod I took closed. Only open at certain times" Eulalie admits "Maybe i should have looked about more. And no idea what it's for. "

"Mm." Frank puts a finger to mark his place and looks up again "I would say my views are complex and not entirely complete."

"May I?" Kerri offers to take the bag and starts to look through it to see what's there.

Siv nods "Fair. But you usually have good insights so I was curious."

Eulalie nods and hands the bag over

As she explores the ingredients, Kerri says, "Frank, I'm curious as well, if you don't mind sharing."

Frank thinks about it, shakes his head "I'm still learning. A student. I wouldn't characterize the War as Siv did, but I think there are instances where all factions could have acted in more constructive ways."

"More constructive...and certainly less cruel," Kerri says quietly.

"Right now I'm focusing on a new element. In recent years, the return, the presence, of Fae who have new powers and magics. Or, perhaps not new but rediscovered. And of Fae who were not expected to return on the Wheel. And what they might know, or remember."

Siv ponders "Like the Centaurs"

Eulalie ponders "Some of the 'new magics' are just old magics being taught more broadly, sir. We DeBukes are proud of Spring magics, happy to teach it to other trolls"

"And we certainly thank the DeBukes for that, Eulalie. Sylvi's put that to very good use, thanks to your family."

"Oh Sylvi's a natural at it" Eulalie admits "She's got Chieftain Material, or so they say on the farm. Not that I'd swell her head by saying so where she can hear it"

"Da's not wrong though" Siv says "Somethings have returned, some things have changed, and the Accordance War was long enough now that rebirths from that time, if remembrence be strong, could give us some new insights or old secrets"

"I suppose studying the Accordance War can help us understand how to make room for the newly returned without conflict, unlike what happened when the sidhe returned."

"AIn't no Centaurs trying to seize the farm, I can say that much" Eulalie points out

"That's a relief," Kerri agrees with a grin. "And I think you better put all of these away. Especially the F-R-U-I-T," she adds.

"Part of what I'm wondering, Kerri." Frank rumbles "Some of the newly returned -are- Sidhe."

Eulalie nods, takes them, and looks curious "Why are you spelling it?"

"Fair point, Frank."

"And I'm spelling it, Eulalie, in hopes that S-N-O-W won't notice it right away."

"Oh ? OH" Realization

Siv nods "Little monkey has ears like a bat when it comes to that word. It's like a magic rede for her. "

"Yup. No faster way to summon her."

Kerri looks to see how Siv's doing with her soup.

Siv seems to have not quite finsihed but seems full a bit prematurely

Kerri frowns slightly...and then her eyes get wide for a moment before she schools her expression to looking merely thoughtful.

Siv also seems intrigued by her father's views on the war and the return of things "Da, you think the sidhe returning is proof they're not one life only?"
