A brow as she chews. After a moment, "It is very good. I will say that Kerri's is better, but it is very good."

"Hmm." he looks over his shoulder at the shop.

"Did you get a good sense of him?"

"A sense of him, anyway. Might do to have Kerri visit."

"I believe she intends to. He said he has received help. Musing?"

"I don't know that he'd recognize it as such. I can't say for sure, of course; not enough time spent with him."

"It seems he is doing well, but I am concerned. Ravagers would see high value in him."

"Have Ravagers become an issue here?" with some surprise.

She shakes her head. "Not notably. I wish to keep it that way."

"Mm. Good." about a lack of ravagers; her disinclination to have them in the barony is a given.

"Could include the shop on regular patrols, have a few of us who stop in occasionally. Siv is known to him already."

"Agreed. We should speak with her about it."

He nods, and they walk, munching bread.

She has finished her bite, and she regards the community as they walk through. The leaves are still green, but they won't be for much longer.

He offers her another wodge of bread if she wants it.

Oh, why not. A grin. "Thank you."

"Back to the Lodge?"

He nods, and they turn their footsteps that way.

As they move along, Signe make sure to look dedicated and protective!

Brekke grins a bit at the pup. "It is good we have a sound animal as escort," she says to Frank for Signe's benefit.

Well, Signe puffs up at that praise

"It is good Oak has help." Frank agrees.

It is then when the sidhe approaches. Alisa, who Vali suspects is of high rank indeed

She appears to be in a hurry sword drawn, a chimerical one mortals can't see

Brekke frowns. "Alisa? What is wrong?"

"Monster" She says racing by

which is not too informative, but the fledge has all the enthusasim of a wilder out to get some glory

Eyes wide, she looks to Frank and turns to follow, dog leash in one hand, box of pastries in the other.

Frank turns with her, bread at the ready.

And they follow that running wilder turning to seek out the monster ... and as they follow they come around to a child's playground. Parents, clueless to their children's fear, don't even seem to hear their own sons and daughter's screams

It must be the magic THIS thing is putting out

Frank stuffs the bread into his coat pocket and jogs forward towards the thing.

The ...thing is easily twelve feet tall from the blood vessel like tenacles it walks on and uses to roll itself. It's eyes, and it has many, roll grotesquely, and the maw is certainly big enough to swallow a child or childling

Frank wades in after Alisa and, picking up a branch from the ground, growls "Leave this place or be destroyed if you intend harm here." to the thing.
