Happy Pets SIgne as two trolls and two dogs walk on patrol

The way is familiar to Frank; the forests that his wife protects are well known to him, after all.

And it looks like only a few remnants of Willows lingers here in Apples, time has faded most of it.

Happy walks along and starts to whistle a jaunty tune

The grump he patrols with is far more taciturn, but he walks like he knows the path.

Signe was reluctant at first, but the fresh air and good Smells soon have her trotting along like Oak's smaller shadow.

And then suddenly, Happy stops and arches a brow, still in a good mood

"Sir? Do you feel that?"

Frank checks; the boy's good at kenning, so Frank tries that.

It takes effort, but he does sense something just beyond two pines.

He tries to make sense of what he senses.

Signe raises her nose to sniff the air carefully.

Signe smells water, and in the wood , that is not unheard of. And she hears gurgling

Frank feels a type of glamour that seems oddly familiar, elemental

"What do you sense?" He rumbles quietly.

"Feels a bit like..." Happy says "It's not a kithain soul, but it is a soul, and of the Dreaming"

She pads towards the Gurgling sound, ears pointed forward.

Oak wuffs ("Careful, daughter, being lead from your charge is an old coyote trick. Never lose sight of your people when guardianship is up")

"Ah, should we follow the dog?" Happy asks smiles as he ask

She wags a tail in agreement, and slows down, still taking point by a few steps.

"Mm. Carefully. Being of the Dreaming does not mean it is not dangerous."

"Yes sir," Happy says and follows the dog ...carefully

She is Silverwolf trained, and now, Silverhand trained as well...

Frank has an unpreposessing short wooden club in his hand.

And Signe finds it, water in the form of a half shapen girl... a spirit and element, and it is fragile and broken. Frank soon follows.. and he recognizes it. For her has seen someone like it. This is an inaminae,... but she is blinking and disolving for she has lost her anchor

She sits and gives a low, WHUFF. ("Found it, boss! Found it!")

"uprooted, render to naught... " the ondine whimpers as she winks in and out

Frank kneels. "What would help you?"

"flesh? I must rely on a fleshy one for aid? Oh the riddle mocks me..." a gasp "I need a new anchor, a pond, a creek, or something crofted, a fountain, a well... I.." She flickers

Frank thinks of the area; he knows it well. Anything that would work?

It's chance, she may still die entirely... but yes. THere is the lake that Siv likes but it gets a lot of public. There's a babbling creek deeper in the woods which si more private. There is well water near Jaymes house if she's to be crofted, they lean more unseelie then. A fountain is closer to the town proper.

As Frank kneels next to the figure, Signe sniffs, and gives her watery hand a tentative lick. ("There, there.")

The Ondine gasps and seems unable to breath

A faint whine, looking up at Frank, and over to Oak.

Whatever is closest.

"May I carry you?"

It is almost even between the well, and the Creek.

"I may break apart in your arms, it matters not where my life water finally spills out I suppose." A choke of pain "Carry me as you will"

Happy's smile is gone and he looks to Frank for he doesn't know which is best

As gently as he can, he lifts the Ondine and sets off as fast as he can for the closest body of water.
