Frank nods. "Sounds like you have everything handled, Vali."

"I may have a task for you later, Frank, but as you just got home, and I'm still sorting things out on this side; I think it's only fair to let you rest up, get some food in you, etc . Could be in a few days though, if at all. Oak will be cranky if I don't buy you time to pet him"

"Geez Da, that trip, took forever didn't it? Here I thought I'd be the one out and a bout but you and mom are swamped this summer"

"Yeah, that was a long one. I've done longer, but not recently. How're you?"

"Oh it's been bonkers. I nearly lost my job at the marina because I had to race off. Piper and Dagmar needed a hand fighting the Fomorian Sea Dragon in Virginia Beach. Ship got damaged but then patched up and now has a cannon"

He nods. "Sounds like you've been busy."

"A wee bit" She nods "All for the good, but I did miss you and mum a great deal. Crazy all the new trolls eh?"

"Mm." he agrees "Are there here now? I mean, are they all Rivervale now?"

"Near as I can tell, Eir-frey and Happy still haven't gotten official approval. Ives, Djilis and Eulalie DeBuke are just on loan but Chief Clem might be willing to let one of them stick around here for a year and a day or so if mum asked. Tig is giving all the new bloods tours though. He's got a new duty involving that, been really good too. Gerd is off or about to be to another hold for more emmisary work and possibly more recruiting"

His beard shifts "Sounds like we're growing in many directions."

"Oh, and there's Valter! Squire Valter..." A pained look "That poor man. Did you know the sea is painful to him? Terrible. I can't even."

"Painful?"

"Squire Valter is a grump, pardon...greybeard. Being on the ocean robs him of his strength and hurts besides"

"Yup. He was.. well, the Baroness is offering his servies to us if we will have him. He was needing to go to a new location, but still da, can you imagine, the ocean denied you?"

"Well.... yes, Siv, I can." nonplussed "It would devestate you, but others survive without it. Can't drive a truck on water." he points out.

If this Valter was a selkie it would be a different matter. Which Baroness?"

"Well da, I accept you have a nice vehicle.. for a non ship" SHe says still sounding a bit sad, only this time for all land bound creatures "Oh Baroness Beyrl of Ocean Breeze. She's a selkie" Siv then adds "And because you'll hear it eventually, she's 'affiliated' with House Ailil, but I must say I liked what i saw of her"
