(Father's Day, Morning)

Frank wakes naturally, around 6. One of the best things about a non-work day is to wake up and then roll over.

Brekke has managed to keep him in bed.

That would make an interesting wrestling match.

And currently a silver arm is draped over him. He's not going anywhere.

Well, if just to roll over.....

....she'll allow it.

Even asleep (or at least mostly asleep), she's watchful to keep to her word.

A knock on the door. Gentle

Frank more likely hears it first.

"Mmph."

"Mm?" Awake, approaching alert.

A nother soft knock

And "You guys awake yet? I can come back later" Siv's voice

Brekke clears her throat and makes sure they're reasonably decent under the covers. "We are waking. Come in, Siv." She looks pleased.

Frank rumblemumbles something that sounds (to Brekke) like a plea for mercy.

The door opens a crack and eyeball peeks in. Smells of pancakes drift through

"Trust," she murmurs. "And sit up." She herself moves to prop pillows for them to sit against.

Frank does, hair sticking out, bare chested, and bleary. "Mmm?"

and the door opens. siv slides in "Happy Father's Day" She has two trays. One for each parent, but Dad gets served first

Brekke helps Siv set Frank's tray before accepting hers. "It looks very good, Siv."

"Mmmm??" he squints and shifts back to make room.

She says "Thanks. Got your favorite Syrup"

"Father's. Day." Brekke enunciates for Frank's benefit, a bit of a twinkle in her eye.

"Today is the day we celebrate that I have the best father in the whole world" Siv nods and gives mom her tray as well "And mom deserves credit for having the sense to say yes and getting things rolling too I suppose"

Frank blinks the sleep out of his eyes and then gives Brekke a DEEPLY amused glance at Siv's last comment.

A definite blush there. "Siv...."

"Fine fine..I'll behave. But dad is getting praised" She demures "I don't always say how lucky I am to be his daughter"

The syrup and the butter is just how Frank likes it

Brekke listens to Siv and nods. "I am very glad he is your father as well." A fond look at Frank.

"That makes three of us." Frank volunteers, and then drinks from his coffee.

An amused sound. "Eat." She tells him. She probably won't start hers until he starts first. It's his day, after all.

Siv stays ready to refill if required "Jessica and I have a gift for you but it can wait until you are done with breakfast."

Frank needs a little coffee first, but then yes, he starts to eat.

"A present? No need for that....."

"You girls are the present."

An interested look at mention of Jessica. She seems to have a question, but she doesn't ask it. Instead, she starts to eat.

"Well, that's nice, but we have day jobs . This you'll keep around where you like" A bit saucy but her dad's praise does make her smile

"Mmph."

The pancakes are quite good. Someone took tips from Kerri

A slight chuckle at 'day jobs.'

"This is delicious, Siv. Well done."

"As you mention it, how is your job?"

"The Marina is hopping. " SHe smiles "So many folks do NOT know water safety so it's a good thing I'm there, but mostly I work on the boats"

Frank seems very happy with his food and coffee.

"It is good that you are there to keep them safe." Brekke gives an approving nod.

Frank nods too.

"THanks , I got life guard certified"

Which they may not have known

"Yes? That is very good," she says with interest. "This is another valuable skill."
