He gets up and opens it.

It's siv "Hey, Da. You okay?"

"Fine, Siv, thank you. Vali and Tiffany were talking downstairs, thought I'd give them some privacy. How're you?"

"Oh they're done. And I'm fine. Was wondering if you wanted me to patrol near Father Pace's Cathedrel?"

"Ask the Mountain."

"Fine. " She says "But he asked me to tell you to get to cot asap?"

Frank nods and heads downstairs.

Siv accompanies him

and Vali says "Welcome back" A look at siv "THanks"

"Just asking him about patrols. Apparently I need to ask you: Can I keep an eye on that priest/dreamer dad found? His area?"

"if you like" Vali says "But bring Lut with you"

A frown on Siv's face "Mountain, i'm a big girl. Can patrol on my own"

"The Thallian may have stragglers, Lady Captain... take Lut with you" Vali says

Frank settles down on his cot and pulls the sheet up.

Siv answers "Yes, Mountain" And manages NOT to sound petulant

Soon, she and Lut are heading out together

And Vali goes to his cot "Night, Frank"

"Good night, Vali." Frank rumbles.

And to sleep they go . Each having been told nothing they did was wrong and the bad things that happened with the good were not hteir fault. And likely neither really believes it
