Frank wakes to find he was fully healed while he slept. Possibly kerri's work

He stretches experimentally, nods, and rises (in his PJs) to pick up and put away the cot. As he does, he checks on Oak.

Oak too is looking better, clean in fact.

He nods at the dog, and goes to get a coffee; maybe there's food in the kitchen? Assuming he's alone with Oak of course. He doesn't ignore company.

Smells like someone is cooking in the kitchen

Then he lets his nose lead him.

Sausages

Always a good sign!

and he sees squire Brogan, who bows "Sir Franklyn, how are you this morning?"

"I'm well, Squire, and you?"

"Fine, Sir. Making breakfast for you. would you like pancakes or eggs to go with the sausage?"

"I would enjoy both, if you have the time to make them."

"I do" He says and keeps cooking "I understand you stopped a group ot Thallian..well, you and oak"

"And Baron Kealan and his people."

Frank takes a seat in the kitchen and sips his coffee.

"OH, I was told the Baron came on you after you and Oak had done the work" he finishes the sausages and starts on the eggs and pancakes

"Oak had captured one Thaillain that he took custody of, which put an end to that threat, and his people healed us enough to leave the area."

'Well done, Sir" He seems quite serious "I have to confess, before i came here I never thought of Liams as warriors but I was unfair to them. THey're versitile"

"Thank you.
We have found it wise to be able to fill needs as they arise."

A nod and he says "Kassedy is still sub part on her reposte"

"I'm sure she's working on it Squire. I'm sure we all have areas in which we could improve."

He ponders "My Souffle attempt fell last week. It was a humiliating defeat" He cooks as he talks and pancakes are now being flipped

"Then you understand."

"I Guess I do" Brogan nods and brings a very nice troll sized plate and serving to Frank. Pancakes, sausage, and eggs (the way Frank likes it) "Now we have regular butter and cinnamon Butter"

"Cinnamon butter, please."

It is prepared "Want pepper on the eggs too?"

"May I have the salt and pepper handy?"

He gets it "Apply as suits"

"Thank you." Frank digs in.

"You're welcome, sir"

Frank eats, finding himself hungry.

"Signe seems a beautiful dog" He says

His beard moves "Smart, too."

"Oh?" He asks

Oak actually looks up from his food bowl at mention of his daughter, wags and goes back to eating

"Mm. Keen."

"Huh. The Chief likes her. She seems to have taken signe all over the barony"

Frank nods between bites "Signe is Brekke's. Or vice versa, maybe." he shares a look with Oak.

Oak gives Frank a fond look, having finished his meal moves to Frank's side and looks up adoringly. Frank maybe reminded of that old quote 'Dear Lord, help me become the man my dog sees me as'. Yes, yesterday was a challenge, but he is ready to join Frank on new patrols or guarding.

Frank finishes his meal with one hand, and pets Oak with the other. Oops. Dropped some sausage.
