"Hello?" A voice from the main rroom, Siv is up "Shit, how late is it? Whee's my phone?"

Frank sighs and heads out. "Siv, calm down."

She's digging around "I am calm... Fiona wise. Have you seen my phone?'"

"No."

"Siv, everything, and everyONE, are fine. You won't do any good until you get something to eat and clean up."

"Dad, I don't have to.. AHHA~" she finds her phonne and checks texts "Oh shitt. She's going into the Dreaming?? I have to.. oh tthis was hours ago"

Frank waits.

"what's she doing going on a RESCUE mission!"

"that would be the Escheat," Vali says from tthe kitchen

Siv flips a middle finger towards the kitchen door

"Siv....." a rumble.

A winnce "Sorry, da. SORRY Vali"

"you flipped me off, didn't you?" the kitchen door asks

"Lil bit" She admitts, tthen checks the phone "Oh thank god she made it back. She's okay! I'm overjoyed. I may kill her"

He waits.

Vali peeks out, amused and whispers to Frank "this is why fiona are fun, they're like walking soap operas"

Siv is texting like crazy

"She's not responding" Siv pouts

"She might be busy" Vali says

"or mad at me because I ghosted her" siv laments

"you didn't ghost her, you were asleep" Vali reminds

"Vali, could you get Siv some soup? Bread and butter?"

"You still like clam chowder, Siv?"

"right away" Vali offers

"Who doesn't like Clam Chowder?" Siv says 'But she doesn't KNOW I Slept"

"She's smart. She'll figure it out."

Frank gets Siv a cup of hot mulled cider. "Here."

Siv takes it "It looks like I missed an entire adventure"

"Mm. Seems like you had some of your own. You seem pretty played out, Fishie."

"Oh I guess... and I AM proud. I mean.." She looks at her phone "Sounds like she was awesome, which she always is, but does't always believe"

Siv sets her jaw "i'm gonna praise her. People you care about should be PRAISED for helping, not givenn grief"

Clam Chowder can be smelled

"Hey, you want me to gumbo this up?" Vali says frrom the kitchen

"No, Uncle Vali, just Clam Chowder"

"And bread and butter." Frank remembers.

"Rightt" From he kichen

"Have a seat, Siv." he pulls one out for her.

"I've been laying down" but she takes it

"Mm." He agrees "And then you'll have something to eat and wait to see when and how people are coming back."

"Heck with tha, I'll go through the trod , kiss my lady love, jonas by my side..."

"No can do" Vali declares "We're short staffed. Need you herre in case of trouble"

"I'm starting to wish I were a modernist!" Siv yells at him

"But we know you're a reformer. Cope" Vali says

Siv looks at her dad "I know I'm supposed to support him as Mountain, but you didn't tell me he would sass back"

"Didn't need to. You already knew."

Her nose wrinkles

And Vali comes out wih clam chowder and the sides. he sets them down near Siv "eat up"

"You did." mildly.

"I did.. and thank you, Mountain" She sips, savors "Not bad"
