"Sleeping with the Fishies."

Kerri is putting the last of the cookies on the cooling racks.

"I don't suppose there's none of them boring cookies, are there?"

A brief chuckle.

"Of course there are. You make sure to provide the Lodge with some!" She sets up a plate with both kinds of the cookies he brought.

"Oh boy!" He squeaks!

"How did they know to buy all my favorites?!"

"I'm clever that way," she says with a fond smile, ruffling his hair.

He sets aside a plateful before helping himself. "In case Siv wakes up, I wouldn't want her to starve. These can be her hardtack."

"Hardtack with cream filling? Interesting recipe."

"Secret family recipe."
