Siv fightts a yawn "Stubborn, you can tell he's a King"

"Um, I brought cookies, on account of someone ate a lot of them."

"Ahh, I see now." Kerri says with a grin. "That was kind of you. Did they go to good use?"

He sees the grin, and he relaxes, tail that was tucked coming out for a tentative wag. "I had to go to the mechanics shop. Lots of stuff in there needed fixin'..."

She notes Siv's yawn. "Here, Connor, help me set up the cot for lazybones over here." A wink as she sets him off her lap and stands to get the cot and blankets from the linen closet.

A puzzled look at that. "Where?"

"May's bumper fell off and her hood was scratched and someone dented up her windshield." He nods solemnly, "Dagmar took me to see the repairs."

"Oh, of course. Is May getting better now?" Setting up the cot.

"Oh no I nneed to stay awake if you need me " Siv protests

Connor fetches blankets and pillows. "She is, but... there was a car there. A little one, and it just had it's, um. Muffler removed." Something about his tone denotes Importance.

"Hush. You'll be able to stay awake after you sleep a bit," Kerri reasons with Siv.

After all but shoving Siv into the cot, Kerri looks at Connor again. "A...car. At the mechanics... Oh! A child?"

"A SHINY little car. Maybe a clown car. Like, there's more inside than you can see. But the car shop is too cold to peek in to find out."

He nods. "His name is Otto. Otto Mobile."

"...he's Fae?"

Siv blinks "Wait... " half in the cot "We have a chrysalid? SLOWL Y I turned" she is clearly going to get 'Otto'

"Lie down. He's not likely to hatch in a hospital. Connor, is he fading, or do you think he'll be strong enough to make it until he's released? "

"Not yet. He COULDN'T, I think. He was in the mechanics. But he still was glowy enough. And going home tomorrow!" He nods.

"I peeked at his papers to see where he lives." His tail wags.

"I gave him a cookie so his stomach wouldn't hurt so much."

He rubs his abdomen, around the appendix area.

"Is this a Hearth Order or an Aunt order?" HER turn to mumble

"Well done, Connor." Kerri gives him another hug. "That means cocoa for you."

Siv gets a BROW.

"It's a CONNOR order." Connor shakes a finger at her.

"I have already inducted him as a Silverpaw member. No stealing him for Fiona!"

Kerri chuckles. "It's as good as if he licked the boy, Siv. Connor's in charge on this one."

He straightens up proudly, beaming.

Siv blinks then smirks "But Fiona needs more people around here." Sweettly "Surely you don't begruddge me one?"

"Well, given his current whereabouts, you might want to recruit Jordan." Kerri looks back out the window. She was momentarily distracted, yes, but no more.

"Pardon..." She turns and takes her phone out of her pocket, looks at it briefly, then puts it back and looks out the window again.

"Connor, where's Dagmar?"

"Whereabouts are the whereabouts?" He asks, curiously about Jordan. "She went to check on someone else. She has rounds and rounds of rounds."

"Jordan is also checking on someone," she says to Connor. "Can you text Dagmar and ask her to look in on Goldfinch, Connor? Sylvi's not returning my texts. I'm sure she's fine, but...."

"I'll text Piper, she's probably at goldfinnch. Her recordings are glorious"

"Maybe the phone sticks are buried in the snow." He reassures her. "I don't have a phone though. Thanks!" He thanks Siv. "Even IF you are a poacher." A grin.

Siv sticks her tongue out a Connor, but looks worred at her phhone "Maybe she's in the middle of a recording"

"Or she's poopin!"

"Possibly"

"Lotsa reasons not to answer." He nods, reassuringly.

"right" but she looks worried

He covers a yawn. "You wanna watch a movie with me? I can make pupcorn."

"I.. sure, Connor. Moana, or Pirates of the Carribean?" Clearly a lot of options

"Moana! It's warm. And no scary fish-face guy."

"Kay" A smile. She makes popcorn with him, and soon they curl up. If Connor hoped to trick her into falling asleep? so much the better

Siv snnoozes... her phone plays the first line of Surface Pressure... and it looks like she might wake

esp if Connor stirs her to tell her she got a text

Connor considers, but she was so tired. He helpfully moves her phone to another spot, under her pillow where it won't bother her.

And Siv snnoozes on

Kerri, in the kitchen, doesn't notice. She's making a new batch of cookies.

When the movie winds to a close, Connor ensures that Siv is carefully tucked in, and peeks in at Kerri. "Shhhhh." He advises with a wink.
