"You just rest for a bit. I think Oak and Edelweiss can transfer some of their victorious feasting energy into warm doggy cuddles. Here..." she helps SallyMae up. "Come sit by the balefire with them."

"I feel like a damned fool" She admits but does as directed.

The dogs obediently move to comfort.

"Damned fools have the best stories to tell later."

Kerri glances back at Brogan, and another pointed glance at the ceiling where the...THING...left an impact stain. Then she leaves the kitchen with the wounded kinain.

Gerd follows "I have an idea about that..."

Leaving Sally Mae with Jessica. "Jessica, I have a favor to ask?"

Kerri makes sure SallyMae is okay, then goes into Fearsome Hearth Overdrive to compensate for the entree gone wrong. She doesn't blame SallyMae one bit, but Thanksgiving will NOT be impacted by this, not on her watch!

Jess stays out of Kerri's way, thus being in the room with Sally Mae when she asks for a favor.

"Please don't tell Clem about this" A frow "Or Heath Agnes"

"Why would I do that?" puzzled.

"Just folks ask how I'm doing, I do not want the ffamily knnowin about that"

"She's doing fine, last I saw." Jess suggest "Which is true."

"Thank you" She says "I just ..well, Kinain arre supposed to be more careful about canrips. Not as easy for us. I really thougght I could pull it off"

"Maybe with more practice." she suggests.

"Maybe, but not in Kerri's kitchen. She's a rigght to be furious with me"
