Kerri rearranges the mugs near the coffee.

"Oh? What about redcaps?"

"How they're always hungry" Kassedy says helpfuly

She nods. "Have you met Peacekeeper Dirk, Squire Kassedy?"

"No Hearth" She answers "he's a redcap? On our side?"

"He is."

"Yup. He has fought off threats to Rivervale on many occasions. He is Symon's brother...you've met Symon?"

"Yes, Captain Siv introduced me to him. He seems spooky but not too bad" She says

A grin. "He would prefer to have you say that he is terribly spooky."

"Ohhh" She says "He's blood curling then" A pause "is it blood curling?"

"Blood curdling, but your heart is in the right place" Vali nods "he'd like that"

"Very nice," Kerri says with a nod.

"Symon is a good ally to the hold," The Daireann says "if I ever wanted someone poisoned, I'd ask him to deliver it."

Vali raises a brow

Kerri joins in the brow raise. "Which is not something that would ever happen from this Lodge."

"No. It would not."

"That would be wrong and certainly would not be considered" Squire Brogan says after a glance about the room that MIGHT involve checking for Gwydion signals

Nothing strictly Gwydion...but there are strong HEARTH signals.

"You know" Kassedy says "Learning about poisons, while wrong save for antidotes, sure sounds like getting an education to me' a bit of a smile

Brogan winces. How is it girls get to decide just when a disagreement is over, even over an hour later?

"Well, there are many kinds of educations to get. The point is that the education isn't worth much if one doesn't survive it." The Hearth's tone is...kind, but a bit clipped? Just a hair?

"Yes, hearth" Squire Brogan says contritely and more sincerely. His honor and the hospitlaity he shows means everything to him ,but a close third to that is his Knight's opinion of him

Frank clears his throat, and looks just a touch worried? Hard to tell under the beard....

"Well, hmm I'd rather learn about history that poisons" Kassedy decides to throw in

"Quite all right, Squire Brogan. And your preferences are good to know, Squire Kassedy. Now, please excuse me. Food to prepare." And she heads back into the kitchen with a sense of purpose.

Brogan says confidentially to the others "There will be no farting food THIS Pennons. "

Vali snerks

"Mm. No. There best not be."

The door opens, and Connor trots in! "Oh, a party?" He sniffs the air. "You had peanut pupper sandwiches? Without me?"

"Sorry, Connor" Kassiday says "You weren't here and I was very hungry"

"But I'm always hungry! " He doesn't actually look upset.

Brogan says "If you like i"ll make you one"

"Hello, Connor. I'm sure we can get you a PB&J." He nods to Brogan.

"With bean sprouts and kale leaves just how I like em?"

"Yes."

"Oh, boy!"

"Squire club is now in session! Honorable judge Peanut Butter Presiding."

"I know how you like em" Brogan goes into make him one

"There's a squire club? Neat" Kassedy smiles "Do we get to brag about our knights? Mine is REALLY cool"

"Dagmar is the best knight." He says with certainty. No lie leaks in there.

"Sometime I'll have to make you the magic PB&Js." Frank rumbles.

Ears UP and he looks to Frank. "?!"

"But the Captain has a magic ship!" Kassedy points out

He shakes his head. "We have a motorcycle that came from a CYCLOPS."

"AND she can shoot lightning from her teeth!"
