"It also is a fine debut for your in your actual Mountain role, Vali."

Frank nods.

"Connor and Jack Will probably love it too" Vali smiles

"Oh! Before the Chieftain hears of this...what if they tell the tale of Skallsrike?"

"Skallstryke, the town destroyer?" Kassedys' eyes widen "They got stories of him at Caer Falken"

"Perfect! That means that it's a semi-familiar story."

"Showcases combat." Frank agrees.

"Which would make you the dragon, Mountain," she grins.

Frank nods gravely.

"DEFINITELY Nerf weapons" Vali says "And someone make sure the Chieftain isn't drunk that night, last thing I need is her having a flashback"

An eyebrow. "Is the Chieftess in the habit of getting drunk, Vali?"

"No, but I don't want it to be the one night she tries"

"I'll let her know the content ahead of time. I'm sure she'll make the best decision that way."

"Chieftain Brekke is sober in almost every sense of the word, Mountain" Brogan says then he looks to Kassedy "He's insulted the mother of your Liege. Now you have to duel him"

"uhm..." Kassedy looks UP, and UP.. at the Mountain, who is smirking, then she says "How about Go Fish?"

"Don't start things, Squire Brogan. Besides, even the Chieftain would agree that she has enjoyed being a bit less than sober now and then."

"Mmphm."

"You'd probably win at Go Fish" Vali smiles, a look to Brogan "you're feeling your oats lately"

Brogan actually blushes at the Hearth's directive and Vali's observation "Well, yes. Pennons is exciting"

"Squire Kassedy, have you attended Pennons in the past?"

"Oh yes," She beams "I wasn't sained but I have seen it. Mind you, I missed somethings because I'm short and they wouldn't let me up front for some things"

"That will change," Kerri says confidently.

"She's not kidding" Vali nods "One nice thing about being at a troll lodge as a childling, if you don't have a good view, just ask if someone will put you on their shoulders. We're very platform worthy"

"Oh but that seems so rude" The little girl says

"Not rude, just slightly undignified" Brogan sighs

Kerri considers the newest squire. "I appreciate that you're aware of that. If you weren't attached to Rivervale, and asked one of us to serve as a platform, that would be rude. But you belong here, and you deserve a chance to see."

The girl smiles "Thank you"

"Any word on how that Auction is going?" Vali says "Siv sent me a text asking if there as anything I thought we would want"

"I haven't heard," Kerri says, and looks to Frank.

"Some neat stuff on the list" He says "And, apparently were NOT to tell Dagmar about this helmet in case it can't be won?"

"What helmet?" Kerri asks with a straight face.

"YEAH, what helmet?" Kassidey's eyes light up

"A magic helmet, no matching spear though so save your opera" He smiles

A belabored sigh, and Kerri gives him a look. "I said, what helmet?"

"As in, it's easier not to talk about it if I can pretend I didn't hear you in the first place."

'Sorry, new to this.. and that reference was delicious low hanging fruit" He says

"Fruit?" says a voice from outside

"Okay, fair," she nods.

A monkey's voice

A roll of the eyes. "Hang on a moment, Snow."

She gives the others a grin and goes into the kitchen. "Better to control how much she gets her hands on."

"Fortunately she knows pumpkins are vegtables right?" Vali calls out

"One hopes," she says while vanishing.

A few minutes later, snow receives three plums.

"THANK you, Hearth Kerri friend, you are best hearth, and so generous! " Snow is somewhat obsessed, but polite about it

Frank looks up. "Hm?"

"You are very welcome, Snow. Please make them last as best you can."

She makes sure Snow is still OUTSIDE before going back into the main hall. "She has the appetite of a redcap."
