"Well, I'll try to learn to earn his respect"

"And you can take some lessons on Star."

"Star's beautiful" the girl says, a bit smitten

"She is." Also smitten!

"You know, a good ship is beautiful too" Siv points out

"I mean, sure, but Star is amazing."

"And you can stroke Star's muzzle and feed her an apple" The little Liam adds

Siv hmms "I can pet my ship"

"Remember, sliced apples are easier. And easier for the Snow tax."

"Yes, I lost a banana" A look at Siv

"Holding onnto your bannana is a unique test of your reaction time here" Siv tells

"Snow... is not the most morally evolved where fruit is concerned."

"But she's... innocent, you know?"

"I know" the little girl says "At least she's not taking my food from me because she can or shoving me to take my candy bar"

Siv raises a brow " Did one of the other squires DO that to you?"

"Noo" Lie

BROW.

"Oh.. gwydionn..." The LIam blushes "well yeah it did"

"It won't happen here." Stubbornly.

"It will not" Siv nods

"Thank you both," Kassedy blushes

Shrug. "You're part of Rivervale now."

"It's how they work" Brogan says "One moment you're a member of the Shining Host, cream at the top.. needing none, then... suddenly you're here and you're surounnded by large blue trees who make you feel like you could curl up safely with coco and a story. Most embarrassing"

"But that sounds nice" Kassedy declares

A little lip tug to the side.

"Well, yes, but it's still mortifying" Brogan mutters

Siv smirks

Brogan sighs "They're laughing at us"

"But they didn't make a sound" Kassedy looks confused

"Nope. Gotta work on your troll still."

"We like having both of you here."

"Thank you, Dame Dagmar" Brogan admits " I rather enjoy being here"

"I think I'll like it too" Kassedy smiles "So... I can have horse riding lessons AND Sailing lessons?"

"Yes," Siv says

"Don't see why not."

A smell comes frrom the kitchen...

Is that , tacos?

"Ooo..."

"Frresh cornmeal and flower," Brogan says proudly for he had a part in it "And fine beef cuts"

"Bet you some of Tove's spices are nearby to add " Siv says, then looks to Kassedy "Squire, Tove's food is very good but you may wannt a fire extinguisher"

Kassedy covers a smile

"Mom tacos? Hell yeah."

"Okay, squire-gang. Obviously, soup's on."

"Tacos ahoy" Siv agrees

And the squires charge ahead

Siv grins and off they go.
