Which Dagmar, might hear near the hold

Siv says "Kassedy, you have to go on the offensive some more"

"But every time I drop my guard, he hits me!"

"This IS a fight" Brogan says

"Sparring," Siv rreminds, "But thank you, Brogan. Here, Kassedy. Let me show you how"

"Not everyone is dance-away-from-every-blow. Sometimes, you gotta take a hit to give one." Sidelines!

"Dame Dagmar's quite good at hammer and tongs" Siv ssays "But a bit of a dance is good for the agile types. We'll learn what's best for you" And demonstrates the motions for a repost

"I thought they taught you the basics?" Squire Brogan asks of Squire Kassedy "You seem to lack some fundamentals"

Kasseedy shoots him a glare but focuses on the lesson

"THANK you, Squire Brogann" Siv says with a note "But "if she does, she'll catch up, no shame here."

Kassedy adjusts her stance, "When do you teach me that Italian style?"

"One step at a time" Siv smiles "But that's the spirit" A look to Dagmar "Has Connor gotten a fondness for any weapon yet? He's a gentle lad"

"He really doesn't care for fighting."

"What if I don't care for fighting?" Kassedy asks

"Well, you don't have to care fori t, but you will need to defend yourself" Siv informs her

Dag taps her nose. "Being able to stay alive is very important."

"Yes, Knights"

She sounds resigned

"Of course, there's also being very good at running and HIDING."

"I had to practice running a LOT already" the squire protests "My legs were like noodles"

"Building up her endurance" Siv explains

"What you need to decide, kid, is what is worth fighting for. Fighting for show ain't much - but what about, say, a Dreamer?"

"I would die for a dreamer" The little Liam declares

Siv put shakes her head "You die for a dreamer, then the dreamer is left without a protecter. I's better to win for the Dreamer"

Dag nods. "That's why we teach you to fight. Not for fun."

Brogan agrees "You'rre a Liam, some will want to hurt you just for that"

Siv shoots Brogan a look but doesn't argue.

"Yes..." the girl swallows "I remember"

"This is a good hold for Liam. And Lady Sparrow has a hold now - Texas, though."

"OH and there's the Liam hold with the horses!"

"There is?" She says

Siv smiles "Let's take a break... get some drinks. Because I showed you the horses, but Dagmar can tell you their life stories."

"Yeah, they do therapy and stuff for kids."

"I'll get the drinks" Brogan offers "Dr. Pepper, Dame Dagmar?"

"Sure!"

"Sprite, please, Squire Brogan" Kassedy asks

"Same for me," Siv says.

And the Liam says "So.. about the horse ranch for the kids? Mortal kids?"

"It has to do with how we first met stormwake" Siv says "Right Dagmar?"

The Dairean retuns with cold sodas

"It does - jerkass neighbor, trying to get the moves on stealing the freehold. Chief kicked ass with that one."

Siv nods " And won Stormwake"

"Will I learn how to ride?" Kassedy says hopefully

Siv sighs "Probably ..what, sailing isn't enough?"

"If you want to learn, sure."

"Now, Stormwake - you'll have to prove you're a warrior."
