"ooo" He scrambles o the kitchennn

Frank nods and goes back to where the attack-plant was.

There is a divot where it was rooted, now a small crater

Frank crouches down and examines the area; he's no woodsman, but he has some skills.

mmm looks like some pumpkin seeds were swallowed, but not fulli digested

He thinks about the plant.... pumpkinesque?

Gerd calls out "Uncle Frank?" Trying it out 'Everythin ok?"

"MMmm. Chimera starting early."

Jack does, indeed, find Kerri in the kitchen.

"Halloween no doubt" the Troll witch observes

And into the kitchen, a bruised and mussed Jack ennters

Kerri glances over, and automatically reaches for the often-replenished first aid kit. "What was the adventure this time?"

"KIller weed in OUR garden"

A pause as she starts cleaning his scrapes. "Killer? Not just stubborn?"

"He-CHief and Gerd got it"

"Oh, that's good." She looks relieved and finishes cleaning him up. "Hmmmm...I don't know if this is bad enough for a healing cookie...but how about a regular snickerdoodle or two?"

"I LOVE reggular snickerdoodles" Then he sighs "I better give the second one to lane. she's the one who got me help" Sigh. Being decent to girls is a burden, but if he must he must

Kerri gives him a very approving look. "How about this...two for you...and two for Lane." She passes them over. "And tell Frank and Gerd they can come get their own when they're ready."

"Thanks, Hearth" He huggs her, careful not to mush the four cookies, "You're awwesome..." And he races off "LAAANNNE"

"You're welcome, Jack." And she watches him go with a fond look. Then she goes out front to see if she can see exactly what Frank and Gerd have 'got.'

OUt in the garden, staring at a bit

She approaches. "I hear we have some vicious flora?"

"Weed" Gerd says

She takes a look.

"It was. Fed it to the 'Fire. Attacked Jack, had him by the heels. I think the season has come, though." He shows Kerri the seeds.

"Oof. Yes, that's a pretty good sign of it. Either of you hurt?"

"Not I. You saw Jack."

"Yes, and he's fine now." A smile. "He's a sweetheart, that boy."

"He is." Frank's beard moves.

She looks at the seeds again. "Do you think there are more of those seeds around? They should probably be gathered up, maybe jarred."

"I'll look" Gerd offers
