A phone call to the lodge...

It rings a few times...and then is picked up, and a woman with a notable accent answers. "King and Davidson residence. This is Brekke."

"Chieftain" A clue that whoever is in the know, "It's Nadeen. I'm sorry the abruptness, things got a bit hectic here, so I'm afraid things fell behind. The Dog is on her way, as are Dame D'Lorean and Gwen.. hopefully Oak will like the former. Mischka's a fine example of her breed"

"Ah, hello, Baroness. If they are coming by trod, I will await them there, with Oak. And I will ask Dagmar to join us as well. Mischka? Good."

"They are, please, pass on my friendship to Dagmar and let her know I'm sorry I didn't make it"

"I will. Be well, Baroness. We will speak soon." And she hangs up.

She picks the phone up again to make a call to the Barn, either directly requesting Dagmar to join her in meeting visitors from SilverWolf, or asking her parents to pass along the message.

After hanging up, she calls out, "Oak! A visitor approaches. Come, we go to the trod."

Oak walks up, walkies? Yes!

"Best behavior, hm?" she instructs. "Self-control." She has faith that he will show exactly that. He is, after all, a very intelligent fae hound.

And out they go.

She opts for a quick walk to the trod, rather than a drive. Better that Oak be exercised before seen.

He builds up a good healthy macho work out

She grins at him. And soon they reach the store where the trod to the SilverWolf/DarkGate area is.

And DAGMAR maybe there already

Depending on if she took her vehicle or not

Sure!

Brekke lifts a hand in greeting to Dagmar as she and Oak approach. "Good. Thank you for joining us here, Dame. I should tell you that Baroness Nadeen will not be in the SilverWolf contingent, but she sends greetings and fond wishes."

Oak wags to see Dagmar. He likes her. She takes care of his friends Twobit and Browndog

"The Baroness tells me that the two who will arrive are bringing Mischka...that is her own dog's name, is it not?"

Nope. Pyschka is Nadeens' and Dagmar would know that because Nadeen gushes

"No, Mischka's a littermate. Pyshcka's Nadeen's, but the names are close."

"Ah, yes," she nods. "Of course."

And they wait for the arrival.

And then three individual step out, first, the knight, Dame "Dee" Lorian aka Lavender proudly wears a black and silver tabard with a Silver wolf design

Then there is the Dog , they've seen it before but this one is full grown

Brekke nods respectfully to the knight she knows well.

And then a glance at Oak as the dog appears.

And with her, is Gwen, the Indigenous girl turned troll, her skin like marble- She is taller, though not as tall as either of the RV trolls, and looks more mature, not just in form but in attitude.

Oak stays well behaved, but his tail wags

"Dee!" Grin, then... "Oops. sorry Chief."

Brekke clears her throat. "Welcome to Rivervale. Dame D'Lorian, you know Dame Dagmar. And...I believe we have also met," she says to Gwen. "I do not recall the occasion, or your name. My apologies."

The satyress grins back, "Looking good, Dame Dagmar. " Then a bow to the baroness if no mortals or cameras watch "Baroness, my liege sends his regards. This is Gwen, a fledge, but also turning into quite the kennel master."

Gwen blushes "I saw you at pennons Baroness err Chief? Oh, this Ovcharka is Mischka, she's the dam of my own dog Ivan" She gives a troll salute. Rusty, but it is clear someone did teach her

"Yeah, was gonna say - you gotta be close, right?"

Oak looks at Brekke for permission to aproach this exotic slavic beauty

Brekke nods at the greeting from the Baron, though there might the slightest tensing of jaw there. And then a nod of recognition at Gwen's words. "Yes, Pennons. That makes sense. Welcome, Gwen." She returns the trollish salute. "And welcome, Mischka," a nod to the dog. "This is Oak."

"You are the kennel master, Gwen. I leave it to your decision whether Oak may approach Mischka. He is well-behaved and will not behave in an inappropriate manner here."

"Feels like I should have been sained last spring but someone lost track," Gwen mutters at Dagmar's comment, then coughs gently "Yeah, I'm sained next weekend. You're invited, if you like, Dame Dagmar. You're a good friend to Dame Lavender after all"

Gwen starts to look at Lavender

but the Satyr is no help "Your will, Kennel master"

At the invitation, Brekke looks to Dagmar and gives her a nod of permission.

"Mischka...this is Oak. See if you like him" Gwen then nods to Oak looking him over "Okay, he can appraoch. If I may say he's a really great example of his breed. Dead on text book but with more vigor still."

"Thank you," Brekke receives the praise on Oak's behalf. Then she nods to Oak. "Please welcome Mischka, Oak."

To Gwen, she says, "I know little of dog breeding. I know that Oak and his sister, Edelweiss, have proven to be fine dogs of good character, but I know nothing of the textbook qualities."

Ovcharka are more aggressive than Great Pyreness but both breeds are guardians, so perhaps it's being in season that's dong it to her, but Mischkha allows this WhiteFurry knight of Rivervale to sniff him out, but gets ready to grow if he thinks he can just sniff and hump. She is a FAE hound and not to be...

And Oak sniffs ,but then touches noses with her politely, and gives a wag

"Doggy courtship. Like... should we get some spaghetti and an accordian?"

A brief sound of amusement from Brekke. "Well...let us walk to the Lodge. It is not far, and they may learn more of each other on the way. How long are you able to stay?"

Lavender grins
